The funny thing is they always said Miles had the best bands. Whether it was to record Kind of Blue or Bitches Brew. Or Live at the Plugged Nickel. Miles had some dogs in his catalog and most of those dogs aged well. More appreciation of his vision later. One truth abounds, Miles had the ear. Shalom

Berg & Stern, they just picked up right after their stint with Miles. I’m glad Miles brought Stern back in after 83 for a few more gigs. Stern got his stuff together got slim.

Mike studied with Pat at Berklee. Pat and Mick Goodrick were big influences on Mike.
