Stop changing things for people moving here. They messed up California and now Tennessee.

I agree with the need and the steps toward solutions. But, too many other sources of revenue have been overlooked, that wouldn't impact people already struggling to put food on the table. That half-cent means a lot more to low-income families than it does to people traveling here from out of town to vacation, people partying up and down Broadway, collectors, and enthusiasts buying even more guns and ammo, or people who can actually afford to buy tickets to sports and other events downtown. Start taxing those revenue sources the way they should be, and you'll get a lot more than some sidewalks and extra bus routes.

I won't be voting for it. It's all talk and if it passes it will only impact Davidson County. I have been here since 1996 and nothing has changed.

When I moved here in 2012 this state was at least 10 years behind in transportation infrastructure and heard alot of great ideas to help solve it. It's 2024, still hearing the same thing but now the state is even further behind and getting worse by the day. Best of luck Nashville

I couldn't agree more. I moved here in 1996 and there has been talk about sidewalk and transportation since I have been here. The transit plan will only impact Davidson Co.

I love sitting next to an empty bike lane that hardly anyone ever uses that takes up half of both sides of the road. Almost as much as being trapped behind empty WeGo buses.

Why would "they" take away homes? What are you even talking about?

I think if they introduced light rail again it would pass. Beefing up the busing system is not going to help. So now instead of sitting in traffic in my car I’ll have to the option to sit in traffic on a bus. And how does this address people that live in surrounding suburbs? Also I scared to ride the bus because the last time I tried a mentally ill homeless man was sitting in the back exposing himself and peeing in a bottle. What are they doing to do to make the buses as the bus stations safe?

Not a solution, there will be more waves of relocation in the future. Best to prepare for it.

How can your opinion be taken seriously if you don't even know what party he's with?
