It makes me remember my grandma. She always asks me the same question after a few minutes. But it doesnt even annoy me a little. It just makes me love her more

A perfect example of how animation can show things that are hard to explain in words - this is a very good film and almost made me cry. A good story and greate animation and voice acting.

@@entertainment326 Some of my favourites are SIX GUYS (The Sixth Door), Sundown (GOBELINS Paris), Affairs of The Art (The New Yorker), Detective Alice and The Inside Game (Kyky Yang), Last Summer (GOBELINS Paris) and Pinched (Titmouse).

This made me cry.

I knew it had something to do with memory or Alzheimer’s related when she was rethinking and everything disappearing, but that ending hit me like a truck, tears just fell when he said “Is today a good day, Violet” DAMN😭

Amazed by the imagination to portray the story so beautifully. Grief looked so beautiful.

It took me a while to realize the pen is the same color as the woman's namesake, Violet. Most of the scenes have violet undertones. Nice touch!

Wow, this is just AMAZING. I started watching again as soon as the video ended. This is clearly one of my favorite short films.

The most touching thing for me was how this simple thing like remembering your most beloved person was such a challenge and I felt proud for her small and in the same time very big victory

I can see why you'd think that! It was actually inspired by a mixture of Whitby and Paignton, but basically all the best bits of british seaside towns :)
