To this day, I have always thought the greatest detail in this animation is the water spilling on to the map. It perfectly encapsulates the unnecessarily detailed chaos that these animations are.

So after 3 years as of today, I finally beat MHW Iceborne and now I can re-watch this video with full understanding and more laughs!!!

0:56 I cannot stress how real this is. She is so much better than our handler and also I want to smooch her but that’s unrelated. And yeah she really does unnecessarily stress the whole “temporary” part of the partnership a lot.

Finally played Monster Hunter gor the first time. Coming back to see this. Yep, it's accurate.

Its surreal seeing this animation when it first came out, never having played a Monster Hunter. I've now sunk 90 hours into World, just beat Safi, and I've come back to understand EVERYTHING

For anyone curious, Shara Ishvalda does look just as horrific in the game.

Don’t think anyone else has noticed that at 3:52, Shara Ishvalda’s head is still pointed towards the viewer, like how he always looks at the player in game. Such a subtle detail and I love it!

Your videos of MHW were the ones that got me into the series and I seriously cannot thank you enough, I absolutely love the games and have made some awesome friends whilst playing. Thank you so much and keep up the tremendous work.

Shara Ishvalda is a creature that uses sound vibrations to dig, and ended up giving essentially every nonhuman creature on a continent a severe case of full body Tinnitus. It's also based off trees it seems, its tail looks like roots and its wings branches, the head a Lotus flower. It also coats itself in Rocky armor due to being sticky. Monster Hunter has some really interesting Ecology.

I come back to watch this so often. I remember being super excited for iceborn. Hard to believe its been so long already

3 years ago I heard Xavy Rusan's Ga$ Money through one my favorite youtube channels. I'm still obsessed with both the song, and the channel.

I want a mod that plays the instrumental before Shara Ishvalda's armor breaks, then starts the vocals on loop after the shell's broken. It needs to happen, not that the actual battle theme is bad! I want to kill monsters to some sick beats.

I feel the urge to give this video a like every time I watch it.

Aiden lending you his handler is awesome. he helps you against fatalis later in iceborne and in 4u he straight up helps you against a rusted kushala. Dude is literally the best monster hunter character bar maybe the admiral and *the man* from 4u.

"Why didn't any of you help us?" That was my biggest issue with World lol. You're a whole city of Monster Hunters and you're the one who does everything. I like how Rise went back to the "you're the village hunter" shtick

I'd be perfectly fine if it only implied they just aren't on your level or need to keep the weaker monsters in check while you do your job. Like how in the end of the Witcher 3 mission they say you've been single handedly keeping ALL the monsters out of the forest to give Geralt an easier time. The problem arises when mission dialogue is all "HUNTERS! TOGETHER WE SHALL DEFEAT HIM!" and then its literally just you and nobody else. The Huntsman saying its a "race" between the two of you to kill Teostra but he doesn't even show up, and the worst is when there's a total of 5 other people helping in the siege to stop Zorah Magdaros from destroying the entire continent.

@@xdude228 To be fair, most of the mhw storyline very much makes it sound like you're the only one who has any semblance of a chance at pulling this off. The two main times characters canonically try to help (seeker and admiral with xeno, Aiden with fatty), they get annihilated. I imagine that's why the player's hunter gets the presumably legendary title of Sapphire Star.

@@bigchungus6827 true but it would have been nice if they said they were supporting from the back lines. Like blocking escapes or keeping the arena clear of rampaging monsters. Then the dialogue could be updates on what they were doing.

I just now realized that when glavenus chopped the Apsaurouse in half he said "Its Raw!"

As someone who has never played a single game in this series, the emotions I felt in the final fight are indescribable.
