Drug addicted thieves are close to the lowest of the low. I agree Aaron, stealing the tools by which a man makes his living just makes me ferociously angry. And the fact that many law enforcement agencies around the country are so underfunded that this kind of crime rarely gets dealt with only makes me angrier.

For as little as you'll probably use your jack, maybe remove the drawer, store your jack in its original place and replace the drawer. That way you'll have more room and the jack won't bounce around and make noise and scratch the drawer up.

That does not prevent new thieves from coming, preventing the problem is better, but that requires a change in government structure, mentality, ensuring that everyone can go to school and finish it, ensure that they find a paid job that they can live on so that they do not on the thieves' path. But this is unfortunately a problem in many countries around the world.

I hear you Aaron nothing gets the blood boiling more when someone steals your tools. Here in Hawaii most of our garages don't have garage doors. Mid 90's after getting laid off from Continental Airlines I worked as a mechanic for all the ground equipment so I brought all my tools and my huge toolbox from Mac Tools home and someone was really brave and backed their truck into our open garage and loaded everything up and just like that all my tools and specialty tools were gone. After that I got off the island and moved to Kansas my last duty station. Like yourself my first mods I do to my vehicles and home is security-related devices. Anyways stay safe out there and have a blessed day and I'm enjoying all your video's. Aloha from Kansas

So far thieves have stolen my rear LED taillights (Cut the wires instead of unplugging them, thank you very much for that..Grrrrrrrrrr!), and tried to steal the truck by jamming a screwdriver into the passenger door just below the door handle, but thankfully I came back to the truck in time and they ran away! My Uncle was a union pipe fitter. Over the years he “borrowed” a bunch of tools from his employers, enough to have a nice shop by the time he retired. Then when he was about 70, he was in the hospital. While he was away, thieves broke in and stole most of the tools out of his shop. He was so pissed. As he said, “It took me over 30 years to steal all those tools.” He was a funny man.

I got in my truck a safe also and a remote that kills the computer and disables it from starting and it cannot be hacked. You can replace the computer but it still will not start due to the back up installed in a secret location. Pretty simple. If it is tampered with and someone steals your keys you can shut the truck off remotely by internet and track where ever it is at. Anywhere in the world even if the battery is pulled. It will send its location for up to 6 months by battery a special little system and photograph you. It keeps a full log on operation and location, speed etc. Good mods on your Bronco. That is one nice Bronco you have. I have never had a problem on mine.

I like the console safe because it is less obvious to open and put something in while not having to open the tailgate. There are several brands of console safes and they all seem to run around the same amount of money. Many under seat units also but most new vehicles have so much electrical equipment under there that the room is limited. Glad to see you have improved your ability to protect some of your belongings and to keep your waistband accessories protected while you are away from your Bronco. probably half way to getting it stole and realized they didn't know what the left pedal was for. but seriously full size pickups pre chip key are the new Honda civic for thieves, especially if you live near the border. As for the trash steering you might try adjusting the box, you very well could use a replacement, however for the rest of the viewers who need to remove an inch or two of slop, a couple turns of the adjuster on the steering box can make a big difference.

I bought a Console Vault for my 2017 Silverado 3500 HD. Best investment I’ve ever made. Great for storing my handguns.

I feel his pain about the tools… So glad they were unsuccessful in taking the truck. Sorry about the tools, hat, etc but it could be way worse. Good thinking on securing the bronco and way to turn the video around.

Take the locks out of your doors and take them to a locksmith they can change the tumblers to match or new ignition lock it normally cost about 50 dollars a lock but different areas different prices.

Why not do it your self. It’s so easy. If a lock can be sold for $40 then it’s hardly high quality.

Console safes are a must, especially for those of us that accessorize Texas style. I don't use mine that often, but it's a godsend on the rare occasion that I do need to use it.

That absolutely sucks that happened to you guys. I would suggest some dash cams as well since there are so many bad drivers on the roads today too!

Someone broke into my crossbed box and took tools. It didn't bother me except they took a cheap tool set my late wife had given me as a present. It may have cost $40, but Linda had passed from cancer the year prior.

Good Luck with your new security features.. Just remember, if someone is insistent enough to get something, chances are they will. My 07 vette has been broken into twice over last 10 years. Somebody sure must have liked the removeable roof. The PD guys saw my Tahoe next to it and said if I'm not using 3rd row seats, *take um out* Must be another hot _resale item_

They should have left an access door under the drawer to get to you little tool storage area. Just slide drawer out and you could get your tools/Jack....

You are a loser they need to be caught and punished jail probably. Isn't good enou guys have a beautiful wonderful channel watch? It all the time. I'm retired almost 70 when I'm not on my motorcycle. As you said Emily, security is an unfortunate reality. It’s gets me mad as well when thieves steal what we have worked hard to afford. Good move adding security measures to your vehicles. I’d say definitely make your well known vehicles safer and don’t publicize everything you do.
