The verse to "White Christmas" is one of the best. Also "I Left My Heart in San Francisco".

The sun is shining the grass is green! You are so right
I just love the way you teach!!! Playing guitar professionally for 58 years, not a very good reader, but I can hear very well. I almost want to stop playing guitar for a couple of months and start studying piano with you. Thanks for all the great information. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😎🙏🏼🎼🎶🎵🎹🎵🎶🎼
Thanks Maestro, great lesson and another beautiful song I would like to play the way you did... a nice week to everybody 😊.

I'm sorry I'm just discovering you now. I wish I had teachers like you when I was in college. You might be one of, if not, the best music educator I've encountered (certainly the best on KZread). I love the way you make complicated issues relatively simple. That is a trait of a brilliant teacher. And you make it fun (I find myself laughing many times while listening to you). Great work. I hope you keep it going. Thank You.
You are such a good teacher, and I have not much of a clue as a kind of... intermediate beginner. You certainly bring it to life, and I am able to at least partially follow. Thanks, TW.
Thank you, Tony, for share us one more of a several ways to put that diminished cords and halph diminished acording to the feeling, between two cords. God bless you! 😎🇧🇷
I have been waiting for a video like this to made for so long. Many thanks gentle sir
Thanks Tony... lots of stuff in there to unpick! Like the use of some of the diminished scale as a flourish but well away from the 'melody note'. Don't think I've ever tried that and now I want to give it a go! Thanks again.
Another classic! I love Chet Baker's take on this song. These videos have done so much to help me learn to read music instead of just blindly memorizing notes. If I may make a request for another Chet Baker banger I'd love to learn - Everything Happens To Me!

Good request, I'll put it on my list
That #4 (D) also has that B natural underneath (its harmonized in thirds) so even more beautiful.
Very good, thank you so much maestro Winston!

Thanks a million ! Wonderful exhaustive lesson ! The charts and explanations are great ! Could you do "Liza" by George Gershwin ? :)
7:00 you nailed the diminished fill !! After 3 tries. Good to see your process.

I'd like to see a video on the art of fills. I love Louis Armstrongs fills behind singers in the 20s. Probably good advice to start the fill away from the singers note.

Hi Tony Question, did you ever do a lesson on No More Blues ? I really like Carmen McCrea cut on it and I'm curious on how you would play it . I enjoy your teaching and the way you explain and break down each song is easy to understand and fallow along. Thank you Darren

@@TonyWinston Actually No More Blue is on my very special list as well. Especially Lalo Schiffrin's solo from 6:00 to 7:30 from Dizzy on the French Riviera kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5WTtKuMdcSXo6Q.html&ab_channel=DizzyGillespie-Topic
In the mood by Glenn Miller...Thanks
😂 I thought it was just me, i HATE most of those intros too. The only one I've heard that I can tolerate is the intro to pennies from heaven.
hi Tony, I have been listening to Boz Skaggs singing "What's New" (key of C). I found and printed a RB chart but feel like something is missing in voicings moving thru the chords. would you have a listen to the tune and see if you would be willing to do a tutorial on it ? thanks
I need to find the piano sheets of this. I think of my mum every time I hear this song 😭
Beautiful. How about a mashup of Someone to Watch Over Me and Every Breath You Take?
I'm looking for an arrangement to accompany voice which is in the key from Frank Sinatra's 1955 version of this song...do you happen to have any leads?
At 2.00 “ever” the wrong chord sounded lush.
Appears that the 3 moved down whole tones yet I know the 3 is every half step still thinking how that worked....
12:03 I'm your real student too 😢

Amazing, love your channel! can you make more video about the different types of passing chords? and explain how they are related, to the scale and out of the scale?
