Fun fact: Rui (lower moon that Tanjiro fought in season 1) was Muzan's favourite for many reasons. So when he got killed, Muzan was pissed which is why he just decided to kill all the lower moons except one (the one in the movie).

That just help y’all to understand that Muzan going to Tanjiro house makes 0 sense to the story. All those demons to do his dirty work, why would he risk going to a “ supposed “ sun breathing house to simply die? He clearly almost died from Yorriichi so why put his life at risk “ AGAIN “? See how the story is very inconsistent with unanswered questions, theories, speculations? See the problem is this, since the show looks amazing to the eye, they can’t see the plot holes because they so invested into the animations/visuals and that’s the trick. A lot more to talk about but that’s all to touch surface. Hopefully you understand tho…

In the manga it doesn’t have that long intro, Ufotable was just flexing and showing how the infinity castle looks, in the manga he is instantly teleported in front of nakime.

I never thought it was Tanjirou's dad when either showed up, but for this one I'll say that the Upper 6 has been the same for 113 years. So that can never have been Tanjirou's dad.

@@venomfuryx3250 Kokushibo and the other one that looks exactly like him showed after the demons scene is Yoriichi, both are brothers, Kokushibo was scared of the demon slayer mark to kill him and he turned into a demon, kokushibo killed his brother, also the guy that was speaking with yoriichi at that exact scene wasn't even tanjiro's dad because yoriichi lived 300 years ago, so, its like a grand grand grand father

It's interesting, when you read some of the supplemental content, Muzan thinks of Kokushibo as a business partner, hence why he can talk to him more frankly than the others. It's also really interesting how different Muzan treated the Upper Six compared to the Lower Six after one of their own was killed. In part, Muzan knows the Upper Six are incredibly strong by demon standards and hard to replace, so he tolerates their kinks way more and doesn't straight-up eliminate them at the drop of a hat or when they fail to live up to his expectations

You can tell Kokushibo and the man in Tanjiro’s dream apart by their hair. Kokushibo’s hair is spiky, and that man’s hair is more like flowy. Also neither of them is Tanjiro’s dad, we literally saw Tanjiro’s dad from multiple angles in the Hinokami flaskback in season 1.

Tanjiro’s dad is Tanjuro kamado. And Sumiyoshi is maybe an ancestor of Tanjiro. Or perhaps, it’s just him inside his dream and maybe the spirit of his father is trying to convey something about his young days as a demon slayer to him but can’t seem to directly because he’s already dead.

Sumiyoshi is the great grandfather of Tanjiro. Yorrichi is the sun heather with long hair. Sumiyoshi was taught everything about Sun breathing pretty much being the only family to carry the Sun breathing techniques, which is why Muzan waited for Tanjiro's father to pass away knowing that even sick and very weak, he could pose a great threat to him. Tanjuro had nearly the speed of Yorrichi as well as the strength and endurance.

Im so pumped for whats coming up, the battles with the uppers go hard!
