I live close to Indian Hills area and my wife and I loved going past the community center to read the signs and then go to breakfast in Evergreen. It was awesome to see all of these again.

Most of the people watching this are probably too young to remember the old Burma Shave sides along the highway. What made them unique was the fact that they were spaced out, as you read a little snippet as you drove until the final sign which finished the gag which of course always said "Burma Shave." We all need laughter thanks for sharing❤👍 I was on the phone recently trying to make room reservation for Father's day at a casino that sent me a complimentary 3days the young lady that was helping me told me she's a new employee and asked me to be patient with her. I could tell she was having a bad day. She said sir since you haven't been here before I have to make you a profile and without missing a beat, I said do you want me to look left or right. She busted out laughing and said thank you so much you just made my day.❤👍🙏🌿💐

What I think I like best of all these wonderful light-hearted jokes is that they don't have to be vulgar to be funny. Most "comics" these days can't get a laugh unless they swear.

I don't mind vulgarity in comedy as long as the joke does not rely on it. Red Skelton was a great man and I loved his work but I don't think it would have swayed my laughter one bit if he slipped in some profanity from time to time.

I remember driving past this sign when I was visiting my sister in Colorado. I didnt know it was an ongoing thing at the time. I can't believe the puns are still coming, its been a few years! Somebody puts forth a lot of effort to entertain others!

Great viewing in the movie 'The World's Fastest Indian - 2005), enjoy.

There is a pub just outside of Richmond, London that had a blackboard stand outside with new funny messages on it each week. The two I remember (roughly) are 1 Real ales sold her because no great story starts with "well I was having a glass of water when suddenly.....". 2 Real home cooked meals because fatter people are harder to kidnap. We looked forward to reading them on our way home from working at Richmond market every sunday.

Am really surprised no one has brought back signs like Burma Shave was known for.

Years ago I saw a bunch of signs where the word "pass" had the letter "I" placed over the letter "A." Lol. Whoever did it took some time doing such a thing. It would read "Piss with care." "Keep right except to piss." "Left lane for pissing only." "Do not piss." "No pissing zone." And so on. 🤣😂 Whoever did it was determined and had lots of time on his hands.

Now, every time I go past a no passing sign or a sign with "pass" on it I think about it. I'd wonder how long it stayed that way before somebody came and fixed it? Lol. I know of a church where the steeple has a hand pointing a finger up.👆I often thought about somebody going up there and replacing it with this one.🖕

Love these "Indian Hills" and Arroyo Mexican Restaurant signs. We need more of these! My favorite was the feathers to cover duck quacks. Laughed out loud- literally and not LOL. Thanks so much for a few pleasant moments today- reading these. .
