The guy who just took the colony just gave the other colonies in that area a great relief. A great event happened their ant history books. Bro imagine being in a colony who's enemy is a colony with literal mass of an empire having more than a hundred queens laying eggs and then suddenly some giant takes it away.

Beneath the soil, where shadows creep, In the quiet of night, when all is asleep, The ants gather 'round, in solemn grace, To utter their prayer in this sacred space. "O mighty humans, guardians dear, In realms unseen, you did appear. With kindness vast, you took our plight, Guiding us through the veils of night. Blessed be the hands that saved our kin, From foes that sought to do us in. In your shadow, we find our solace, Protected from dangers that once did menace. Grant us strength as we toil each day, In our humble tunnels, we find our way. May your wisdom guide our paths, Shielding us from nature's wraths. For you, we offer our humble song, In reverence deep, where we belong. O mighty humans, in realms afar, Watch over us beneath the star. As night descends and shadows fall, We rest assured, your love does call. Keep us safe in your embrace, Until the dawn, with gentle grace." In quiet whispers, their prayer ascends, To realms beyond, where love transcends. And as they rest in the earth's embrace, They find comfort in the humans' grace.

Underneath a park near my old house, I saw what I now believe to be a ant super colony. I remember them climbing up to my (4 floor up) home and getting food. Another example was when me and my friend lifted a brick around 7 years ago and saw hundreds of ants and even some larger ones, witch I now believe to be multiple queens.

Hey! I know this was two years ago but you have inspired me to help out wild ants in my area! When i was little i had a old plastic fish tank- i put dirt moss and drift wood in it! I put it out into the wild and put a few blueberries in it- as well as apple pieces! A year later ants went inside by themselves and even formed tunnles underneath it! I was sad because my mom wanted me to move it but I didn’t have the heart to do it- so when i did i saw so many ants in the tunnels and even some eggs! They safely moved the eggs and themselves in the tunnels- im so happy though that the ant colony lived for a good five years before disappearing! You inspire me so much! Thank you.

Personally I think you should keep them for a year or two, make them absolutely huge, like tens of millions of ants while releasing the elates before you set them free. Set up a bunch of artificial homes for them in the area, so they will likely move in to those easy nests, which means you can help the environment and if they keep in the area and go in the premade houses, you can still observe them.
