I live in Clarksville and have been watching this castle go up. It's supposed to be an event center from what I've been told, and the latest rumor is that there is cost issues. They are still building so I don't put too much stock in rumors. Truth be told, if I ever win the powerball lottery, I'm building a castle to live in like this. And I'll pay some peasants to man the archers towers and work the fields just to keep it authentic.

This was a fun one. Noticed it the other day and just knew we had to visit it. Just south of Clarksville off of I-24. Locals say it will be an event center or wedding venue. Some say renaissance fair. Not sure, it is listed as an attraction and as a business. Or could easily just be my dream home, who knows for sure. Cool all the same!

To see you two searching for the right term for this legal adjacent stuff you love to do was the best starter for what to come! Reminds me so much of all the forbidden places we sneaked in with my best buddy after school: Closed dark World War II Bunkers, abandoned industry ruins. The more forbidden, the more fun! And I knew it! I knew it! Keith has the best influence on you, Ken! Thanks for the great fun!

It looks like one of those restaurants that have the medieval plays. The guys fighting with fake swords and jaust, I can't remember the name of it, but that's exactly what it reminds me of. It's a great spot to fly for sure. Thanks again Ken for sharing. 👍👍👍

Just watched that vid. Ken. Think its time to update with some newer drones. MIni 4/ Air 3, mavic 3 bet the results would be wildly different. Get your buddies together for a tracking festa, each chosing one object to track. a bowling ball, beach ball, a goat. a naked Kieth running down a hill. A la Jackass. Ken`s trackathon.@@KenHeron

I have a crown vic that was the fire chiefs car. Several times it has caused people to leave me alone when I'm spot flying

Don't you get compass errors when launching a drone from your car? I'd get one when launching my Mavic 2 from a cement slab and found out there was rebar embedded in it.

It's best to fly where you can actually see the drone if you need to.

What a shame that the “anonymous” videographer didn’t take a look at the inside of those castle walls, would have been good to see the structure of the building as well.

from someone who has visited many castles, medieval and pre medieval it looks nothing like any of them. Way too many windows, to look more realistic it needs missing brickwork, a long driveway and some random men walking round dressed as knights!

I am not a legal expert. Possibly neither are the owners of this property. However, if I WERE the owner, and I saw this video, I'd be having lawyers examine it. It certainly "Feels" like breaking the spirit of the law by flying around inside the structure. Don't get me wrong. It's awesome and I appreciate your guys sharing this, but again, flying 'over' a non-trespassable property isn't the same as flying down INTO a structure. And the open courtyard is clearly surrounded by walls. Breaking the plane. Kinda like you can still be charged with B&E if the door is open. Broke the plane.

Being nosey is one step shy of being a thief!

I thoguht it was a movie prop, but it seems to be built to last.

Being spoiled with castles here in Europe, they best hope it never gets attacked, even by a mediaeval army. I'd give it a couple of hours. Still an impressive structure though.

It's about as fake looking as the Disney Castle but still fun, loads of castles here were unfinished too! (Usually when the reigning King or Queen got pissed off with the local Lord of the Manor.... it happened more than you think....

It’s not trespassing or illegal until you start flying inside. 😂 There’s no expectation of privacy until you start manipulating cameras to look into windows and or fly inside the thing. 😂
