Coll played well, but Elshorbagy was just next level, as he has been throughout the tournament. Kudos to players and NZ crowd.

Mohammed ElShorbagy’s foundational footwork training makes him the most resilient (and injury free) top-10 player the game has ever seen. Returning to the T to hunt down the next shot is reflexive for him.

More variety with Mo's game in this final, side wall boasts etc, gut ripping play. Well done to him and Paul for a great final!!

So nice to see them both playing through minor interference and not hunting strokes at every opportunity. Match looked pretty grueling, with the best and also fittest player on the day winning, so all around a good day for Squash!

He's definitely taking something, his stamina and endurance are back to pre-covid levels out of no where, Greg's shared his recipe with him thats for sure! But its so good to see true glimpses of the Beast of Alexandria again. A in form and healthy Shorbagy Vs in form Asal would be a such a treat!

Perhaps its selective highlights but it looks like Elshorbagy just pushes the ball around for the first game, letting Cole control the rallies, then just steps up the pace, goes for more nicks and dominates from that point forward

The problem is coll has many opportunities to put volley drop shots kill from loss shot but he don't put it I know he is not talented but he can work on it it's not his game wlshorbagy is doing long range drop shots volley drop shot and counter drop shots coll doing only counter drop shots if the drop shot of the opponent is high and his perfect straight basic game if he add enough attacking game like elshirbagy farag asal and do it with his perfect straight basic game he would be on another level this why coll don't hit the tin much because he is not putting ball is not taking the risk

ElShorbagy is in Coll's head now. Coll doesn't have an answer for him at the moment. He needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to play against this rejuvenated Beast.
