What a beautiful music journey…. Gorgeous
Wonderful! Too my ear its the harmonies, musical progression and the timbres that make this piece stand out. Bravo!
Very nice!
For some reason this beautiful piece of music reminds me of Aphex Twin. Love it though!!
It's refreshing to be able to detect and follow a composition for a change. You have a nice palette of sounds in this piece.

Sounds exactly like The Album Leaf! The Red / Green Tour EPs, or their album In A Safe Place. 🎉
this is so very good. i can't wait to binge all your other videos
Very very good. Really enjoyed. The glitchy percussion at the end was great too. Cool visuals as well
I see from the comments that my YT synth buddies beat me to your channel. You’re an enigma. Great view counts (for modular) compared to your sub count, and yet YT only chose to recommend your stuff to me this morning. I can’t figure YT’s logic. Anyway, you’re producing great stuff in every way. Glad to have discovered you!
Just listened to this track 5 times in a row...truly spectacular harmonies dude 🔥🙏
Just discovered you recently and I’m enthralled by the richness of the sounds.
Really nice work. 👌🏻 Very soothing.
You make amazing videos and music my friend.. I love the minimalistic composition

@@AlanDear Apologies for replying so long after the original video, but do you remember what app was being used with the grid?
Perfect music to eat bacon, drink coffee, read emails, and plan my day to
Absolutely beautiful! So so good. How are you getting the audio out from your modular? thanks
So you're running grid to Ableton to modular (endorphin.es)? That's cool! Most setups with monome I've seen use Aleph, ansible, or teletype. This is cool and way closer to my workflow.

That is correct:-) I've customized a preset for the Shuttle Control, sending triggers, pitch/cv and some modulation from Ableton to the modular. There is some latency issues atm though, but as most sounds come from the modular (or at least through the modular) this is not a big issue
Really enjoying this. Small rack to produce such a rich and varried track. How are you doing the percussion/drums? Sounds great!

Thanks! There’s two kicks; one from the NE Basimilus Iteritas Alter, and one made in Ableton Operator. The perc is both from the two channels of the Bastl Grandpa and Ableton Operator. The sounds from ableton is routed through the modular though (morphagene stereo input)
What plant are you using in that setup? ;-) Nice composition. Do you have anywhere online with your stuff? Bandcamp/SoundCloud?

Haha :-) No clue, but it's still alive:-) Not, yet, but working on it. Hope to have something on bandcamp in a couple of months
Is it correct you don't need VCA modules in this such setup you just use the Mix ? newbie here
what's the wattage of that bulb? afaf
What monome app are you using in Ableton?
@AlanDear

It's Terms. Different instances of Terms was used to come up with sequences etc, and "Launchd" is used on the performance
what's the mixer over to the left? sounds a bit like tycho
