Excellent job on the PnG and I intentionally let you see the key, because even hidden you'd make short work of it 🦾. I am glad that you enjoyed it and it was an honor to have you pick one of my CLs. You were the one who gave me the nudge to even try making my own pins. I am grateful to have been an excellent friend and the great things you do. Cheers 🍻

Excellent work on those pins! Lock Noob's skills are surely under-appreciated considering how fast he opened this lock and it surely disappointed Jason ;). Yes, there were false sets, but no noticeable over-sets that bound the lock and required a restart or anything. LN made this look easier than it actually was and it's a bit odd that his picks are viewed by so few when picks on other channels are viewed by so many. I'm still a fan of those channels, but I don't understand why this massive difference in attention persists.

I had a challenge lock I was going to send you. After destroying the core in an attempt at modifications, you posted the video where you received the "Double Deuce". I was ashamed of my meager attempt at a challenge lock, and attempted mods again. After destroying another core, I decided to give it to someone else, where it may be an actual challenge. It has a good name though, it's a Paclock 90A-Pro with the name "The Deep False-setto". Great video Ash!

Very well done ! I see you gave the Peterson a rest and went with on of sparrows creations (I really like their hot dipped handles) and of course a multipick prybar (wish I could afford multipick). It must have taken him a long time to make all those pins and modify the chambers. I don't even know how in the world he threaded the bible, it didn't look like there was access to it from the outside. I think this is the first time I ever seen a "rattlesnake" pin, if not, then at least it's the first time I saw one in detail enough to understand it. To make it really challenging should use a cylinder with a paracentric keyway, schlage are so wide open.

Thanks, Ash and Jason. This is one evil lock. I'd love to see a 'making of' of this one. Wonder how long it took to make it. Really lovely. And while i see the point of refusing challenge locks in general: This one was certainly worth the exception.

I wouldn't know where to begin on the pins. When I make pins I tend to think of other pin ideas. I still have weeks of pin making, but the standard rattlesnake keypins I make in the spot as I build the challenge lock. All I can honestly say is, it takes a long time because I usually build 30 or more of a certain pin and sometimes create 1 off pins or maybe make 3 or 5 of a pin before moving on to making other pins. Sorry I couldn't give.you a good estimate on time.

@@matt79de I use a .023 jewlers be-burr wheel for under cuts ( done free hand, a tao that's 3.2 or 3.5 for chamber threading. Security pins don't like mods, especially when you use handmade pins. Why the Rook pin in pin outer pin got stuck in chamber 2 in the Bible. It's always a process and learning curve to get the hang of the processes you use and work on the techniques that work best for you. It takes time and practice and don't be afraid to make mistakes. I've only been making CLs for about a year, and there's still an ongoing learning curve for me

@@charlesflores5559 I have some standard rattlesnake pins made, I need to make more of the outer rattlesnake sleeves that can be used as pips for drivers and keypins. I have some other style I make and a newer kind of rattlesnake PIP, the inner pin is the rattlesnake verses the outer pin that's like the sleeves. I do have a channel if you want to call it that here, but to see an idea of other works of mine, I can be found on Instagram and discord

Unless Jason is able to sell you some, the only commercial challenge pins are from Sparrows Lock Picks
I realize that the key was in the lock and thus fair game, but it might have been possible to remove it from the lock under a cloth or in a container in order to hide it from yourself.
