When I was studying in school, I think that I had missed some crucial explanations and I was clueless about how to solve such equations. I barely passed this topic, having memorized some basic formulas and writing them down. Today, at 28 years of age, I decided to look up what I had missed. It didn't even seem hard. Thank you for your work! I had struggled with what was written in the textbook for weeks, but with your video it took me only minutes. Awesome!

Great explanation for specific questions, but a deeper understanding of how to go about solving would have been more appreciated. I teach and tutor higher mathematics , I also look for vids to supplement my teachings with students. Some of your other vids are wonderful, my comment is strictly constructive criticism. Most of my students only need to understand how to solve the problem to complete their degree (and of course get the answer right). You would make a wonderful tutor if you haven’t tutored already. Cheers!

Couldn’t we have squared both sides as an alternative? Second, aren’t you not supposed to divide by a trig factor - in this case COS X,since you may loose solutions??? Please explain thanks.

Absolutely destroying calculus 1 when I've never been good at math, but the trig functions are starting to creep back into everything again. Gonna be a rough couple weeks being brought back up to speed on this, trig is honestly so wack.

At 6:43 why can you multiply the 3/3, wouldn't that mean that the equation is still unsolved because you have to do it on both sides?

is there any reason you used the interval [0, 2pi) instead of [0, 2pi]?

may i ask why you add 2πn to the results, rather than 2πk? I always learned it as 2πk. I know it doesnt matter but its a weird way of writing it for me.
