Thank you so much for this video! I've been struggling with solving a Trig Equation for days and my coursework's explanation was...not very clear. This video was very simple and helpful though, and now I think I know how to solve it. Thank you so much!

How do I know when to subtract/add from pi/2pi ?

16:43 I like pointing out that tangent can be viewed as slope and so you could get the 3pi/4 answer by understanding a slope of -1 would be the perfect diagonal in the 2nd and 4th quadrants. Thinking of tangent as slope has the advantage of making things faster but of course is ohe more thing to remember so it has that downside I guess.

Your unit circle picture looks nice, yet I can't help but think "but 30 degrees isn't half of 45 degrees so they shouldn't be so evenly spaced" 😅 I totally get that it makes the picture easier to view though, so the sacrifice in accuracy may be worthwhile.

Do you have any advice on how to stay on top of math? My problem is as I advance, I tend to forget the earlier stuff.

That’s a great question…it doesn’t hurt to occasionally review previous topics to brush up on them…when you find yourself struggling with a current problem and you know it involves previous concepts you have covered that is is a signal to you to make a note to go back to those earlier concepts.
