Let me ask the obvious, you guys have done so many Coyote swaps, why haven’t you and Dover developed a K-Member and header swap? At least if you did it everyone would know that it fits, unlike all of the other manufacturers that just hope their parts fit?

Sounds like me rn with rod and his “amazing kook headers” gotta spend $2200 then additional $1000 for parts to make it work 😂

Thanks for sharing. Let us know how well or poorly the steering shaft works. Having run both the UPR and AJE k members on swaps, I strongly prefer the AJE although I don't like the way that the rack bolts on for them. The engine placement is just much better. Great video guys.

Great video. Thanks man. But question. When selecting these headers what 02 sensor opinion should I go with. This is my first Coyote swap. I have an 11 f150 motor going into an 84 Cougar?

These are the same headers I purchased for my swap. I have seen 1 guy (street car builds) run this setup before but I have yet to buy my Upr k member. Do you know of these speed engineering headers would fit with spring perches to retain factory springs and a arms? With the 6r80 I’m going to try to use the PBH shift lever flipped up to a 85 shift rod on a AOD shifter.

I find it so interesting how these k members work. I have a UPR K member with Polly mounts and it fit perfectly on my coyote swap but I have no idea if it’s due to them being taller or the hooker blackheart headers I didn’t need any shims or anything to raise it up? It is an 03 but I don’t think it makes a huge difference?

Apples and oranges. I have an 02 coyote swap with MM K member, poly mounts, no spacer and BBK long tubes. No issues at all.

What should a coyote swap cost as far as labor ? Assuming all the parts are already purchased

Did you try a BMR k-member with the coyote swap?

If running 6r80 or 1080r go Ultimate headers. 1399 That’s what instructions said when I bought my qa1 k member but for price probably cheaper to switch to upr😢

I’m trying to find that out also. I have an 01 with the upr k member and the last thing I need to get now is a set of headers. If I find out I’ll reply back on this comment.

These headers work for a 1979-1993 Mustang, why wouldn't they work for a 1994-2004? I figured they would work with the newer cars because the 1996+ came with the 4.6, which is a much bigger motor (externally) than the windsor motors.

Site now says for use with UPR k-member not MM

Now will those headers fit a new edge with coyote swap if a guy uses UPR k member

This. Also with ultimate headers for a 10r80e swap. Speed engineering are supposedly for 6r and 10r80 swaps.

I don’t think the steering column would fit with those headers

The manual is smaller than the autos so it should fit easier with a manual.
