For anyone who was a little confused about the check solution, here is another way to do it, First, you replace the y in the equation with what you got in the (x, y) or the solution of the system. And the same thing for the x. Substitute what you solved for x in the (x, y). Then you solve the problem like normally and if they match at the end, then your answer is right Example: Solution of system (or) point of intersection: (1, 1) Equation: y = 2x - 1, y = -x + 2 Substitution: 1 = 2(1) - 1, 1 = -1 + 2 Final Answer:. 1 = 1, 1 = 1 The answers match so our answer is correct. Anyways, I hope this helps people 😊

The purpose of multiplying by 3 is to get rid of the fraction, and is an entirely optional step. The reason he chose 3 is because the denominator of the fraction (-2/3) is 3. Multiplying by 3 would cancel it away. This is not a required step, just one that makes things easier since fractions can be challenging to deal with. Example: x/2 + 1 = 5/2 I can multiply all terms by 2 in this case. This will result in a simpler-looking equation x + 2 = 5 x = 3

Dresnio 13 you would just rise up however many it is and run one. Because any number over one is always that number. Example 2/1=2.two being the rise and 1 being the run. I hope this helped 🥺
