165% is actually 1.65 as a decimal number -- remember that a whole number (the whole amount is 100% or 1.0) so the percentage sentence would be: ___ x 1.65 = 186 then you would solve as demonstrated in the video --thanks

It actually taught me something, in middle school that I should have gotten by the time I graduated from there, i would, if I knew any middle schoolers, tell them to KZread and review this video. So easy, I missed out because of the war. Grateful I am a smart woman and taught myself a lot and passed languages, geography etc but could never understand English enough to get a grip on mathematics. I was top of my class starting high a hook when war broke out and we had to get out. So many thanks, practicing diligently

This video is to help them to teach their own students. Teachers get an idea on how to explain in an orderly manner.It great!

I was actually looking for the Base,Percentage and Rate....welp,still helpful anyways!

Point eight (.8) is not the correct answer; you should divide 32 by .40 which will give you 80, remember that when you change a percent to a decimal number in order to "do the math" (in this case 40%) you need to move the decimal point (even if it is invisible) two places to the left, then do the math.
