Guys, If you are having issues on the first PowerShell step to fix the problem, be sure you are doing the same way as the video. Like still copying the command from the desc, and them correcting it taking the spaces. In other words, this is the corrected command: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} Hope it helps if you guys got stuck ^^

Is it necessary to update all the apps that the store is showing?? I paused all and is this the reason why i cant download games from the store?? Please please please reply.. i need your help.....

Tried all the steps, still not working. I've tried a lot of solution and it's really frustrating. It's amazing how windows manages to give unlimited supply of errors and bugs after each forced updates. Thank you windows, not cool.

None of this worked for me and I started to lose hope but I changed the network from private to public and suddenly worked by magic. Hope this will help some of you.

thisara nilupul go to settings then to *network and internet*. In the *status* menu you should see *change connection properties*. You should be able to change it from there. Sorry if I’m wrong, I don’t have my PC with me right now.

I finally solved the problem. 1. Go to "Settings" 2. In the search box, type "Internet Options" and press enter 3. Click "Advanced" tab 4. In the "Settings" scroll box, scroll down to "Security" section, make sure that "Use TLS 1.2" is checked 5. Click apply Now you can try open "Store" and it should work fine.

I followed all the steps you suggested and it still does not work. As a matter of fact, the last step generated a window telling me I needed an app to open windows store. I followed step by step. All I need it for is to add extensions.

Its very well elaborated solution box. but my issue is little different. I got my windows 10 formated and rebooted.since then windows store and movie maker apps are not seen at all please help me in solving this

I HAVE FOUND A FIX: go to settings, accounts, your info: if it says update info or add info, click on it. For me it said to enter password which is what needed to be confirmed and updated. After you have entered the correct password and logged in, close everything down and shut down pc. turn pc back on and it should work. I spent ages trying to fix it. also for addition info, when you press windows and search 'store', my microsoft store was greyed out before the fix. it did not respond at all when clicked on, didn't even minimise the start menu, it was like hitting enter or run didn't do ANYTHING. Hopefully this will help someone. Like so others can see

Thanks so much for the steps. I followed them all, in order, but Windows Store still just flashes and then disappears. I also did a complete Windows reinstall (keeping all apps and files), but it doesn't seem to have helped. Ah well, I guess I will just give up. For mine, I fix via enabling back my "Windows Licenses Manager Services" in "services.msc". Previously I disable due to notifications of "Expired Windows 10" keep popping.

whenever i do "wsreset" it always tell me "youll need a new app to open ms-windows-store link." And windows store doesnt exist in my laptop and i have no default apps and i cant even install them using powershell no matter how hard i try And about the troubleshooting method, it always say "cant detect the problem" (even if there is a problem..)

Try this: open your Xbox app (if you don't have it, open the Xbox Console Companion app and it will recommend installing the Xbox app, which will also open the store app) and select a game you have installed (the preinstalled Solitaire Collection will show there as well, if you don't have any games, search for something - Hydro Thunder Hurricane trial is free for example). Now, when you have selected an installed game, the Xbox app will present you with the page for it. Look on that page for a button with three dots, it's by the install/play button. Click that three dotted button and select Share. Now look at the bottom for a button labeled "Get apps in Store". Click on that button and the store app should open!

My solution was: Uninstall Xbox App Admin Command Prompt: icacls "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" /q /c /t /reset Restart Install Xbox App Looked for a solution to my issue for about 4 hours before finding this!

Y'all I just fixed mine unintentionally because my photos app got the file error and I was trying to fix it. All you really need to do is go to search and run the "run" app and type in "services.msc." Once it is open find the "Windows License Manager." Basically what the Windows License Manager does is allows you to be able to use the Store, if it is disabled the store won't work, search it up if you're not sure. To enable it, just double click on it and change the "disabled" to "manual" and click apply, then you click on the start button, wait for it to finish and then click OK and it should work just fine. This should also fix the Photos App if you have the file system error just like me. I got this fix thanks to the "Do Special" channel so be sure to check him out :D

None of the above solutions worked for me . But my xbox game bar also having some problem so i reset it in apps & features section and after that my Microsoft store also worked . I hoped it can help someone who is trying different solutions.( And yes i also restart it one time )

FIrst 3 methods didn't work for me. On using Step 4, I am getting this, what should I put in path? cmdlet Add-AppxPackage at command pipeline position 1 Supply values for the following parameters: Path: On using troubleshoot, getting error that apps are crashing but it is not solving the problem. I have submitted the feedback.

Type Microsoft Store and then right clicking and hitting setting and then scroll down until you see reset. That is what worked for me!

in Step 4 it gives me this error PowerShell : = : The term '=' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the At line:1 char:1 and so on+

In addition, none of the Windows Store Apps on my computer will open either. Splash screen comes up, stays for a while, and then crashes. Any help would be appreciated.

So the first Powershell command made it even worse, now any app that the command was updating or whatever is can not be opened and the names of them start with @ and i believe the file location. Is there any solution to this?

It worked for me, I don't know which option because I tried them all without restarting the pc, but now the app works perfectly.

Are you getting any error message. Would suggest you to check for windows update, reboot the machine and check if it works.

its not working for me. everytime i try the power shell i get errors and the microsoft app is not popping up in the apps settings, what should i do.
