Very cool, I've been wanting to buy a roll of cork, so I can cut insoles from it, but not positive what type would be best. They look adventure capable, you've got some other nice ones too.

Nice! Natural cork would have the best breathability, temp regulation, and antimicrobial properties. Something like this: etsy.me/3L045kw. There are composites, which would be more durable, but also potentially toxic and less breathable.

@@AndrewFolts Thank you for the link, i favorited it and will see if any of the project stores around me have something like it. Totally agree about the compromise between natural and composite. I don't want any toxins being absorbed through my feetsie pores.

I like that style with a cork on top but I use the zero Shoes Z Trail whatever it’s just the rubber bottoms and I love them, but it would be interesting to have the cork and one thing I don’t like about my zero shoes is it heal cup and you know I do get that it does protect your heel when it’s put on something so if you have your feet up and you put your feet on something Your heels are protected, but I don’t think that’s too many use cases too that there’s too many use cases to make that point of having. I I may be getting these when my Zee trails are done as far as usability perhaps next year, even down to the logo it looks very much like a shoe but yeah that’s a it’s a cool and I will likely buy these at some point thank you for the review that it’s really cool to see different brands come out with things I’ve heard of Moki Shoes, but I haven’t bought anything from their site. I pretty much have what I want. I got a couple pair of Evo, barefoot Gies, I’ve got the trails. I’ve got Merrell vapor gloves and what else I have anyway I have pretty much all the different varieties. I’d like I wanted the I wanted the Wildling Shoes that slip on they’re called the jami I think. But they did not have my size I ordered a size up and it was way too big so I had to send them back plus, I wanted those in blue so that it matches most of my outfits that’s probably enough for this comment type ha ha.

Yea, the heel cup is mostly unnecessary. Wildlings do run a bit long, too bad they didn't work size wise. Sounds like you're pretty well geared up for barefooting, though. Have fun out there!

Sorry about the talk to text thing. I’ll just say I love my VIVOBAREFOOT gobis black and brown lux version, and the primus, also love my Merrell vapor gloves they are super comfy. From appearances they look too tight but when your foot goes in all the room necessary is available. I love my Z treks from zero shoes but these sandals may be a replacement as well as the jasper mukishoes perhaps although I do like the wildings. 2 future pairs for sure.

I would like to know your opinion on furoshiki shoes. Also I’ll likely get the sandals since my gf is constantly trying to get me a pair.

Haven't tried them, but they seem to be made of a synthetic blend, which seems like it would quite hot/sweaty for a wrap style like that. I'd go for the FiveFinger's, like the V-Trek, which is made with wool for better breathability. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYJkmcakf8_VhZc.html For the Solstice, if you're between sizes, then it might be better to size down, because they're slightly long, if anything.

Hello! What about those plastic triangles? I don't know if it's due to my conformation but they hurt a lot 😢😢

They didn't bother me, but it could be a sizing issue, like if yours are too long/short and the triangles are hitting you in an uncomfortable place.

i'm curious as to how it does with Water my current zero shoe sandals are great but when they get wet, they tend to get a little slick

  • @AndrewFolts

They feel more grippy when wet than rubber, although I've heard cork can deteriorate over time if you get it wet a lot. If you're in a lot of wet terrain, then the DLD Perception would be a good option. Rubber, but with a much deeper texture for grip and drainage. kzread.info/dash/bejne/X42aq8ufnJOyddY.html

@@AndrewFolts yeah, I'm in Texas and it gets plenty humid... so although not wet per say, your bosy does get plenty sweaty

@@jshud3 Humidity is fine, it would be more puddles and wet grass that could be an issue with cork.
