​@@roguereacts Modern kpop is built on G dragon's creativity. He created the first lightstick, he popularized idols dying their hair bright colors, he made it possible for idols to write and produce their own music before Lies became a hit in Korean companies didn't allow their idols to even try to self produce, and airport fashion started as the media being obsessed with what G dragon was wear and knew he was going on a trip and waited at the airport for him. Also he kinda popularized mini albums but that was more of a business choice by YG but BigBang was their first and most successful idol group. The industry just copied YG trying to get some of BigBang's success.

@@roguereacts yeah. He invented the lighstick first back 2006. Before 2006 kpop fans just only balloon for support their idol. Gdragon idea to fans used a lighstick first..

GD and CL were the first idols to really gain a foothold and respect in the international fashion industry. They made that a thing. It's very common now for idols to be brand ambassadors, but it wasn't at the time; they paved the way.

Bet me,his fame will never fade because he started almost everything in kpop.

​@@roguereacts bfr this kpop fans using coloured balloons whenever they came supporting their idol..GD created it with the purpose to differentiate vip's from other fans so they can easily spotted them...

Quite different from the image Gd gives in stage, he is just a cutie patootie. He is adorable, shy and super polite ; he is know for bowing 90 degrees to everybody even his juniors.

GD has always been interested in fashion and BigBang designer wanted to brake the stereotype of boy groups dressed in identical clothing 😊. They started going to fashion shows and the fashion industry noticed anywhere GD went there was a crowd of fans . At that point the fashion industry didnt care much about the Korean market . The first to notice was Louis Vuitton. They sponsored his 2009 solo album . In 2014 they invested 80 mil into YG . If you look at Crayon MV you will see a beanie Givenchy personalised especialy for GD . It modify their logo into Jiyonchy from Jiyong ( GDs name) . Then Chanel took notice and asked him to go only to their shows . He signed as Chanel Global Ambassador and muse to Karl Lagerfield who personaly came to Seoul to take photos of him . Peace Minus One fashion brand made streetwear popular . After the military service he started his colaboration with Nike . 4 shoes have been released so far and GD designed a new shoe model for Nike , the Kwondo . He had designed many other things , like uniforms for french football team PSG . The biggest stars in sport wear Peace Minus One . Chanel curent creative director has been spoted wearing PMO at Chanel fashion shows . Nike CEO came to Seoul . One of the major perfume houses founders came to Seoul and he made a perfume specialy for GD . All this despite GD being inactive at his main job for 7 years . He is respected and accepted into the fashion world as a fellow artist . He is not seen as a marketing device , a popular face to help the sales . He can go to Chanel show dressed in other labels and still embody Chanel style and at the same time be himself . Ohh And Chanel does not have a male line . Their house designs for women .

yep word of advice for Bigbang, this has only JUST calmed down with the shock of the burning sun doc that just came out which meant delusional people have had to become quiet - but 'ot5's , fans from certain countries who insist seungri did nothing wrong and bigbang should remain as five, have done their best to scare everyone away from bigbang for five years and really hurt their legacy. theyve scared a lot of youtuber away, so its best to just put a disclaimer at the start youre not interested and will be focusing on four, or just dont give them a leeway. Youll have a fantastic time checking out bigbang regardless. to me theres no issue in enjoying the band and the music and live performances etc and enjoying the past. hopefully theres still a future for them down the line
