I've played drums now for over 25 years, and I can't even imagine the kind of hit accuracy you'd need to be able to play this thing. Moreover, I can't imagine how much weed you'd have to smoke to come up with the idea to turn a toy miniature drum kit into a set of digital triggers.

This dude is a GIANT in his field.

We call him Mr. Mini-Drum in Tokyo! I saw him play and talked to him just yesterday. I see him play every year, and so let me assure everyone that it's all real folks! He made the whole thing himself - except the chopsticks, I guess....

It's not the tiny drum set making the sounds. Its hooked up to an electronic pressure impact sensitive drum set where they sensors would actually be hooked up to life size imitation pieces which resemble an actually drum set. Here, you can see the sensors and wiring on the cymbals.

I hate how people are saying its fake. The cymbals don't move because theyre not supposed to. its and MIDI Drumkit. In other words. You only hear it when you plug it in to computer/MIDI audio. And the kick pedal is on the floor most likely. It probably plugs into the kit. So I hope I've explained it for anyone else who thinks this is fake.

I have a few similar to this including finger drums but they frustrate me. When I play my right foot plays the bass drum and my left foot marks time on the hi hat and if I can not do that I just get frustrated.
