Solo Woman Rider in Southern Iran. Maymand, Shiraz, Persepolis and Esfahan. EP 11
This is my second video from Iran, it sees me heading further South to the Rocky village of Maymand then on to Shiraz, Persepolis and Esfahan. Once again I experienced unfettered kindness and generous hospitality (which led to some crazy house parties, Iranian style). Exploring these ancient places makes you feel like you are travelling back in time to a place where the heritage and opulent architecture is from the very beginnings of civilisation. Oh and yeah, the police stopped me again ;)

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I'm raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family lead as normal a life as possible so please donate generously: gogetfunding.com/arewethereyet/

Those little girls you met in Mongolia and in Iran will never forget you. They will be your fans long after youtube is gone. You've probably changed their entire world view -- for the good. Congrats.

Beautiful, just beautiful 😃 Your videos never cease to remind me of how amazing the world we live in actually is. In every video is hidden the essense of the beauty of the world...and our ignorance towards it. Thank you Kinga for taking us all along with you on your journey 😀👍
What a journey, excellent. You've proven that we're living in a beautiful world, everybody can live in harmony with one another. Looking forward to episode 12

Yes, you are so right!
I am in love with your whole life and thank you from the heart for sharing with us. You are so engaging with everyone you meet! When the guy said "Why are you alone?" You answered "Why not?" Couldn't love that more!! Blessings always!!
Amazing country :) Respect from Turkey
I love your travels. You have a excellent talent in producing and editing these videos. So much is said in them with so few words. I travel extensively and I wish I could convince people that the world is a wonderful place with wonderful people as you so masterfully show in your video's. Unfortunately, in my country fear and hate seem to be all you see in the public media when I known from my own experiences that that is not the true world I or you live in. Thank you for the positive outlook on the world.

Not so for 4 RTW cyclists murdered in Tajikistan recently. You need to be aware there are bad people in the world and do your best to avoid them and the areas they inhabit.

@@alexmorgan3435 o man, it happened yes, but it happened gazillion times not, the indoctrination you are spreading are mind boggling. Because what happened there once, happens daily, in every single Western country a tenfold by regular car accidents. But that's mildly accepted, because it's economy driven. It's sad that you took just that example!

You complete idiot. Driving a car is a lawful everyday activity which becomes unlawful when the driver drives negligently i.e. badly. In this incident it was NOTHING to do with an accident. It was cold blooded murder. The driver drove into the cyclists with the intention of running them down and killing them. He and accomplices then got out the vehicle and started stabbing the injured cyclists. Tell me what is accidental about this? It was a terrorist attack carried out by Islamic nutters. There are lots of evil people in this world and unfortunately a lot of them do these evil acts in the name of Islam. They are nothing more than bandits and murderers.

Yeah, you are right, I'm an idiot ... you actual ever won a discussion by this tactic ? Here in Belgium we didn't had an terrorist attack on our airport with dozens of death. France didn't had dozens of deaths with terrorism attacks. You better stay inside !!! .... don't know where tho, but still, stay inside don't move, be and stay scared of everything that moves. See me care :D

You’re awesome! Beautiful videos, sceneries, people, and all.
Lovely Iran...
You're so inspiring to me! I was hit head on by a car while riding back in April. I broke an arm, my pelvis, a leg and a foot which caused me to be hospitalized for 18 days... Anyway, it's now been 4 1/2 mo's of recovery but after watched several of your videos I know for sure that I want to ride again! Not today, but someday soon I will regain the strength and courage to hit the open road. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and inspiring others to get out and see the world. God bless you & be safe out there!!!
At 7:24 I remember that hostel it was next to our boxing gym (Takhti) in Esfahan and all the time I saw few adventures bike like yours parked outside it and I wished when I grown up one day doing this around the world .Atm I live in the UK but got to superbikes (I have HONDA CBR 1000 RR) and still thinking to doing this :) Thanks for your video .

As a young fellow I lived in a foreign country and learned the language over the duration. Upon returning to Canada and just getting by, I rented a room out to a new arrival from Iran. I tutored him in English and facilitated his immersion into Canadian culture, paying it forward like those who had helped me. Seeing one's own country through the eyes of a newcomer is a gift. Shahab was the best tenant I have ever had, simply so considerate, respectful, help full and above all, kind. Naturally, I believe his attitude to be a product of his native culture. Wherever you are Shahab, I wish you well. To all Iranians...you are so humble and awesome. Thank you purple haired intrepid traveler.
Great video. Lovin all the different angle changes and on point camera work. U can see the effort put in!

Great video! Nicely captured the hospitality of the Persian people, keep posting!
Seriously cool scenery !!! What an experience ! Safe travels ... catch you next time .
An amazing woman, she has a spirit of adventure in her heart.
Had your 1st video in Iran pop up in my feed of recommended viewing and here i am watching another.. really enjoying your journey .. From another rider from down under, stay upright and enjoy..
An inspirational journey and great to watch. Although I wish she would talk to us, tell us how she feels, what is going on, the emotions, the everyday practicalities, the planning, the ups and downs, all of that stuff. The expressions of joy through heel clicks and spins says something but I'm left wanting to know more. The lack of commentary feels like a missed opportunity.
