Gotta love the dog! 👍
The side eyes from your pup while you're doing the car tour is so relatable.

Lol. I caught that. "Like mom, Im tryna nap."
Dad of 2 daughters & grandad of 2 granddaughters. Go girls, in every walk of life🙌👊 Women rock.
I've been telling people about my "no build" camping style and they basically think I'm homeless No I have a home, plenty of friends and family with plenty of money and I'm self employed ! I just didn't wanna spend 50k on a van! I like camping, not being in an apartment on wheels This let's you go everywhere and you get to save your cash on gas. It's so much smarter and much more rewarding God bless 🙌

@theS, We rarely travel more than a hundred miles a month. Fuel is a very minor part of the budget.

@@largemarge1603 i bet it gets expensive lugging you around large marge. id stay in one spot too.
Really shows you don’t need a fancy setup to have fun.
04:48 2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle. We use the same stove. Casual passers-by are amazed by its condition...moreso after we mention it's going into its third decade.
I want this life so badly.
Loved all the safety tips the most!! And I just love your content, really encouraging to see other women go adventuring and being safe!
The waterfall was my favorite shot. Your build is simple yet functional at the same time. Thanks for sharing your home on wheels adventure. Hope you both have a safe travel to your next find.
Her voice is so mellow
ahh this has me so excited to start my big car camping roadtrip in september! just a lil tip from a fellow hiking dog owner, consider trying out a harness for your pup during hikes just in case theres any falls or slips, that way he can easily be pulled back to safety without being choked! love the video girl thank you for all the awesome tips :)

also side note you’re so pretty!
if you want a tip on how to clean the pan lookup how to de-glaze a pan, you just add a little bit of water to a hot stainless steel pan and VOILA! all the crud comes off.. fancy chef's use this technique to make the sauce for the expensive dinner plates... but you can just throw it away after the pan is clan. ;+)

@yout, Agreed. We owned a restaurant business for ten years. We de-glaze with a cheap red wine, then make a sauce or gravy with the fixin's. . Seeing all that great fond discarded... Ouch!

@@largemarge1603 tbh i feel like this is one of the key process that delineates between the 'home cook' and the 'pro cook'
I like this newer format. More narration and elimination of the background music. This new style is more relatable.
It is summer and hot in Yuma. So it is time to watch the crazy Canadian snow camp videos to help cool down my stir crazy cabin fever.
I went to North Shore near Lake Arrowhead a month ago and woke up to snow the next morning. Still had a good trip.
Such a gorgeous and lovely opening, this was enjoyable and well composed presentation!

Rubbermaid bin coming in CLUTCH in every carlife vid. Great no build setup!
I always enjoy finding a fellow YTer from my home province! Loved joining you on this adventure! The falls were amazing! I'm going to have to make a trip to see them too.
You're amazing! Probably the best hiking / camping / bushcraft blogger on the entire youtube

Great video, love the waterfall. Stay safe 13:13
Great video Madison & your buddy. It’s nice to see more women going out there do all camping and exploring. My daughter and I would like to do more this summer. And watching your video is really encouraging. Subscribed to appreciate the great efforts.
Thanks for sharing your car camping knowledge...especially about safety :))
I was born in Merritt, and I have been to Kamloops so many times. I'm glad to find your channel. Stay safe 👋🇨🇦
Thank you for the safety tips!
The views of the mountains in your videos are amazing. I love camping and its great seeing how safe you're being. I will say complacency is what causes most injuries so keep looking after yourself and have a great time... Amazing Video
I also love to walk in the snow place
You do an incredible job of shooting solo!
your dog speaks by it's face expressions, precious dog. amazing video.I learned a lot
I’m so glad I found your channel, I really want to try solo car camping! With my pup of course :) your dog is so precious!!!
This gets me so excited for winter hiking this year in New England! Thank you for showing what you do for car camping :)
Watching your videos reminds me of camping when I was little. I loved the outdoors and watching your content helped me go buy my first hiking essentials and get back outside. Thank you for sharing the normal, non-glamourised side of camping and being in nature. I'll be exploring East Coast Canada while dreaming of all those beautiful mountains ❤️
This whole video is so calming and relaxing.
Imagine waking up to that view of mountains. Sooo pretty
Thanks for sharing your journey, the video was great 👍
cant wait to travel
Beautiful waterfall😊. All the views were beautiful. Many more happy campings to you😊
Very similar to my set-up! Great content girl I love it.
I love the outdoor cooking
Really like your set up...think I will be doing some car camping this year also.I like that all the ideas you showed was not involved with building anything etc!! Lol!.but everything in it's place! Thank you!!
I did something very similar to this in the Okanagan in 2018 for 8 months... one of the most relaxing times of my life.
beautiful waterfall
Awesome videos and adventures, thanks for all the car camping tips, safe travels ✌️
Love ❤ it’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru.
LOL kinda of funny.... My wife and I camp out of our Tacoma... Same under-the-bed roller bin for cooking, same mora knife, the same cook stove, same metal cookware, same pants, same foamy... It must be a Canadian thing... Cool channel!

Very nice. Looks like a nice camping experience.
That’s an insane waterfall!
Thank you for the informative video. Blessings to you.
the views are incredible
Nice to see you... Welcome to Nepal
I like a Lounge chair. Steel wool is a great cleaning tool and Comet soap scrub. Oh, Rubbermaid storage bowls!
That’s not exactly how we make fajitas in Texas 😜. The scenery was gorgeous though. Stay safe!
Love the pants❤ so much you can store in your roof as well👍
Looking beautiful ❤️
This was a really great video thank you! ❤
Very nice. Pls be safe. Enjoy..
Food. Planning meals is so morale boosting & essential when walking or expending energy outdoors. Hunger creeps up, like a rat in a drainpipe.
Hi Madison what a beautiful Awesome And amazing sentry I just love your sentry and things you do Awesome ❤😊
My goodness Canada looks so beautiful! I wish I had my passport already I would be going through next week to get a boat! but I’ll be stuck in Alaska while my brother goes instead , anyways thx for fire content ! Keep it going
Great video Madison! I did a solo roadtrip through the Rockies this winter and am researching ideas for car camping (plywood build, rooftop tent, regular tent). I love how convenient your no build option is. I'm 6'0" and not sure how comfortable it would be for longer trips in a Forester.

ohh yeah i dont know how tall madison is but a forester is even smaller than an outback. might be doable if you put the front seat down? probably not comfy though

@omeg, I am 6'3", 220#... and I turn 72yo in a few weeks. 2003, we quit roughing it. For us, a walk-in mobile home is better.
Great set up, nice and tidy and easy to get to things you need.
I have been using a car as a camper for decades. I am now on my 4th car. If you go on a longer trip, I suggest that you remove the rear seats and install a piece of plywood for your bed. The space taken up by those folded down seats will give you a lot of extra storage space.
I started SUV camping on my own but I always bring my pistol with me. I always feel safer.❤
Thanks for sharing 💜
Great video. Cute dog!
I’d like to see the messes like garbage, dirty clothes, heating if u ever in the suv. Cleaning up etc
Minus 10 degrees Celsius is very chilly.
Awesome. Thank you! A suggestion is putting the bear spray somewhere more quickly accessible? Though a tip I also have heard is motion sensors to have more time for if wildlife did get curious about the vehicle. Some people also put Pinesol or ammonia smell around the perimeter to deter animals but I need to research that more. I personally am looking also into the tested bear-resistant food storage options. I love a lot about your set-up though including ways you found for things to not freeze.
Great info!
spectacular views! instant sub!
Hemlecken Falls, that's in my hometown of Little Fort's backyard, past Clearwater. It's been awhile since we were at the falls, probably 30+ years, longer than u've been alive LoLz😅. U passed thru Little Fort en route to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Good fishing up in that area, my late Auntie Silver & Uncle Bob had/have a fishing camp, along Hwy #24, but once the snows gone, alot more car camping opportunities, b4 the bugs come out 😆
10:55 - Stunning falls
Keep your videos coming...
Wow
Like how you took time to clean your camp stove after cooking, Nothing worse than a filthy camp stove to attract bugs and other critters into your other belongings.
Brilliant Madison- thoroughly enjoyed!
if you aint got a scrubby just put some sand or dirt in the pan with water and it will be squeeky clean
Safe travels :)
Love it!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Bumyahe na... completo ayos🎉😅
Thanks for the tips. I have a Subaru and wanted to see if your tips would work in my car.
wow going to a road trip with your dog..nice! a new friend here😊
car camping good👍👍👍👍👍
Omg your foot scared me under blanket, I thought it was a rat the way the pup looked at it lol🤣I had to take a double look
Frm N.Z, love the way u utilize the outback.. 🇳🇿✌️would u think abt tintin bck windows at 35 % ...
i want to do that wow wonderfull life
You should get a Tesla Model Y for camping! :)
surprised you dont have one of those yakima hardshell deals on the roof. my cousin lived in alaska and said she kept a full kit in hers, incase the car brakes down you would be good for a while.
Can you make a video on essentials one needs to live in their vehicle? I’m wanting to travel and temporarily live in my jeep during the summer maybe till mid fall. Made a list of everything I think I need but I know I’m missing a lot.
So cool! Love the Subaru CD tips. Keeping it simple is doable! Hey, is that a snow waterfall? Never seen anything like it. Would love to hear more info about these p?aces. I'm in Tn. I've lived in MI but still so different. Thanks for all the tips.
Cool
***** Not sure if this has been brought up, but I’d really recommend getting a car restraint for your dog. I’d hate to think what would happen to him if unfortunately you got into a car accident. The best ones involve a harness and then a leash connecting it somehow to the inside of the car. Keep up the great content!
For people planning to sleep in their cars in the winter, I’d recommend keeping your underside warm. I was mostly comfortable overnight in blizzard mountain conditions and down to -7f in Wyoming, but I always woke up after 7-8 hours with a cold back. From bottom to top, I layered a 1/4 inch closed cell foam sleeping pad, a cheap polyester(?) blanket, a 3 season Big Agnes inflatable sleeping pad with insulation, and a 30 degree comfort rated marmot sleeping bag
