You didn't say how the Mini AC worked out. I think what you have is really a small evaporative cooler. I grew up with evaporative coolers in Phoenix, Arizona and they work great in low humidity. But when the dew points start rising up into the 40's and 50's, they just make it very muggy without cooling the air. With all of that rain, I'm assuming it didn't cool you down much. Glad to see you brave the elements to go camping instead of turning around and going home. Any day camping is better than a day at home.

we're in north mississippi and this time of year its impossible to camp without ac lol, the cheapest/smallest amazon ac unit (80.00) and a generac silent generator (340.00)( same size as those 1100.00 honda silents) was the cheapest quietest soluation for tent camping.

One of these times you'll bring the tart when it rains. How did that portable AC unit work? Heard mixed reviews on them. The drone shots were great!! Hope you ate other food off camera. I'd be cranky if I only had two burgers on the trip. lol

It's called Softopper a company out of Boulder, Colorado makes them you can vist their website to order one. It's a great way to get into truck camping without paying too much for a new fiberglass shell! Hope this helps you 👍 Glad you enjoyed the video!!

Hey Dylan might be an odd question but how tall are you? I'm 6'2 thinking about getting an access cab taco and a softopper to get a similar camping setup to yours, wondering if ill be cramped or not when sleeping in the bed. Great videos by the way, super relaxing to watch lol.
