BANGER! Absolutely fantastic film. You did a lot! Great composition, all the B roll . Loved it. And you definitely picked an epic for your first solo. Lambfoot Dub is a special place. I plan to go back maybe pitch further up near the crags of I can find a pitch......... really good job!

Cheers John, yeh the crags look interesting, spotted a couple of other good pitches in that area. Wish I could have gone up the Band but just decided to play it safe with having to carry camping gear, one for a day hike. Love a good scramble, Snowdonia this week so will see what I can squeeze in. Nothing like what you do though, not for the balls for that just yet 😂
Brilliant mate

Just enjoy cooking something after the hike, its something to do at camp and im not a big fan of pasta pots or anything like that, nothing better than enjoying the sunset with a decent meal!

Couldn’t agree more. Looks fantastic. I’m always looking for different meals to make when camping.
I enjoyed this quite a lot but you can definitely get your weight down by a mile for the conditions you were in, or around that time of year. I've wildcamped for 25 years now and started out carrying way too much aswell, like 20kg, it's only worth that in extreme winter conditions. My 3 season tent weighs 1.4kg now and didn't cost a lot and my packweight rarely exceeds 9kg unless it's a winter camp. I know at altitude you have to prepare for the worst but a soulo black is absolute overkill. Anyhow, thanks a lot, it was all filmed splendidly and was a joy to watch.

Not going to disagree with you John. Unfortunately I only have the one tent right now, just bought the best I could afford but you’re 100% right a summer shelter would bring the weight down. Same with food, could easily have just taken dehydrated but cooking a proper meal up there made the evening for me. Again I took on four massive fells, too much in hindsight but it all made the day I guess. Thanks a lot for watching and very kind for you to say about the filming! 👍
Ooh! Showing a bit of thigh eh! 😂😉 But seriously, what a cracking day and adventure for your first solo camp mate. You couldn’t have asked for better really. Nice one.

Using the Fjallraven Friluft 45L Backpack, didn't weigh the pack to be honest with you.
