Bloody good keen man there mate! Well done in those conditions!
Seems to be a theme arising more and more that is the need for hunters to shoot more hinds and help control the numbers so we don’t have hungry deer and bush without feed. Nice winters day on the hill 👌

Just good to get out to be honest! Getting a deer with the dog and watching her develop is the bloody rewarding too
It's always good when you have a dog earning it's keep.👍

Thanks Greg
You are doing well, I cannot shoot deer in the bush so I let them come to me, my shitzoo dog is small but normally gives me ten min notice before I see a deer
Love all your vids mate. I have been stuck on the farm for the past 3 months due to the covid lockdown, family and the animals. Am finally getting into the hills to chase some winter Sika next week. Flying into the Oamaru private via Helisika. Hopefully stumble across 1 or 2. Cheers for the vids and happy hunting

Good on ya mate, they're hard to shoot from the couch.
Nice video mate! The Gopros are great when they work but can be very frustrating

@@BackridgeButcher yeah when it's real cold I try carry a spare battery wrapped up in a beanie or something in my pocket, cycle them and they keep coming right as they warm up. Cheers, appreciate it 👍 was a good few days hunting!
There is not much feed around in that beech ,probably why there are so many skinny deer around.
