Solo Female Van Life | VAN TOUR
Welcome to a van tour of my self-converted Ford Transit van, The Big Dipper. I live in this van as a solo female and I am stoked to be sharing my build with you!
I spent a year converting this empty cargo van into a home and it was quite the adventure. From designing the layout to teaching myself electrical work, this project was intense from start to finish.
I am so happy with how my van turned out and I think it is the perfect layout for all of my solo adventures! Whether you are building out your own van or enjoy seeing the creativity behind these projects, I hope my tour and experience can help provide some valuable insight.

Nice tour. If I can offer one piece of advice....make sure you have venting for your refrigerator or it may not last very long as you will overwork the compressor. :)

Thanks for looking out- a overworked compressor is the worst. I didn’t show it but I have ample ventilation on three sides of the bench where the fridge lives.

how do you earn income if you travel, given that you are only 20 years old?

Great question! I work in the tourism industry half of the year and they subsidize housing. I use what I would be paying in housing costs to travel in the van!
