Ok, this cracks me up. I love how you don’t swear (#homeschooled) but you still say butt in front of your parents. I wasn’t homeschooled but that was still a bad word in our house. We had to use words like “bottom”, “rear-end”, “backside” and other such phrases. I’m 33 and I still don’t say butt in front of my parents.

Their family seems so loving and friendly. Although I'm happy for them of course, it made me realize once more that I could never go on a tour like that with my family without it ending in a complete desaster. I grew up in an abusive home, my now 15 y/o brother was taken by the CPS... I tell myself all the time that I'm an adult and don't need caring parents anymore, but seeing other people's families makes me sad sometimes because it shocks me how nice being with your family could be. I'm still grateful for the times my parents were nice, my wonderful siblings, my boyfriend, the opportunity to study at my university.... There's just nobody to call for guidance or help if I had to move again etc.

Congratulations to Micarah for being engaged, betrothed, and affianced!!!
