great kit, I have the original and this one. Tip, flip the lid over and nestles as the lid to the pot. An added bonus is you can keep other food warm in there while serving as a lid.

To be absolutely honest I prefer the all stainless steel version from the Pathfinder School it's Bulletproof.

Another good video. How long did it take to boil 1 cup of water? If less than 25 minutes what kind of fuel do you use?

It took less than 10 minutes. That cook set does a pretty good job funneling the heat along the sides of the pot and is a decent wind block. In idea conditions I have gotten 1 cup to boil in 6 minutes. Keep in mind that boil times are extremely dependent on several variables (outside temp, water temp, wind speed, etc. ) so everyone’s tests can get different results. I use the Pathfinder Alcohol Stove with Heet for my fuel. Thanks for watching and the comment.

I must be doing something wrong or my stove is not doing what it's supposed to do. In my kitchen sitting in the center of my range, using yellow heet, with the multitool stove stand, it takes 25 minutes to get a rolling boil of 16oz tap water. Even when I use the m40 cookset it takes 20 minutes outside.

Interesting. Sounds like you are using the multitool stove stand and not the PM40 base for the PM40 Pot, is that correct? I tested again this morning using the latest Pathfinder stove and the PM40 set. For 16 ounces of water it took 8 Minutes and 43 seconds to bring it to a boil. I then let everything cool down and tested again with 32 ounces of water in the PM40 and that took 12 minutes and 8 seconds. This was using tap water on my kitchen stovetop. If I get a chance later today, I will try the same test with the multitool pot stand and 16 ounces of water and let you know the results I get.
