As a kid I made some house zones on the clearing with my friends. It was nostalgic childhood. It’s so amazing we can go back to these times as an adult man. This is why I love watching these vids.

Unfortunately most us grow up and think it is just a thing of the past but it's not. We were not wired to live behind 4 walls, we crave fresh air and outdoors for mental health.

I was planning the last campus with my boys this weekend, until my father in law went into the hospital. I am on duty next weekend hoping we can swing the next weekend after that. My boys were watching this and added a few things to our list. Thank you for helping me give them some direction on the good path.

In tropical countries like the philippines when it rains it really pours abd you cant make any decent fure if any . Regarding bushcraft shelters the rains only respect shelters with tarpaulin as roofs tiles or gi sheets . If not you run the risk of swimming in your own shelter. Your rains there are quite disciplined and shy.

Moin Moin or Hej, or how do you greet each other? Here is Harry again from Northern Germany (almost Denmark). There you are again at creating a good shelter. Is it your intention to do this without tape or tarpaulin? What are you going to use to make the pages denser? The tree was a gift wasn't it? My question is that the rain (water) doesn't run around the trunk from above and drip off inside? Are you going to add a cap to that? Do you want to further optimize this? Or are you still looking for your next permanent shelter that you can tweak to your liking now that you've had to rebuild your shore shelter. We are in the process of finding a shelter near a cliff to the Eastsea building the Baltic Sea. Beautiful view only about 25m from the cliffs on the edge of a clearing open to the Eastsea.
