Building a SHELTER under a giant ROCK during HEAVY RAIN! | Cooking on HOT Stone

Ойын-сауық

On this off-grid adventure, I build a shelter under a giant rock to protect myself from the heavy rain. In wet conditions, I use the upside-down fire technique to stay warm all night long. Get ready for a unique culinary experience as I cook on a blazing hot stone. Don't miss this exciting wilderness adventure! Subscribe, like, and share for more outdoor survival adventures!
Hope you enjoy!
From the rain into the storm! Check out these outdoor adventures to see how, in the midst of a rainstorm in 'Finding Refuge in an Abandoned Hut,' I sought shelter in a small, old, abandoned hut. There, I lit a cozy fire to dry off and warm up. Experience the intensity of nature - enjoy watching!“

It doesn't matter how much moss you use, having a tarp would keep out the rain. It would always find some ways to leak through the branches.

Getting a cooking stone from the stream was a bad idea. Stones soak up water, even dense stones. When you heat them the inside moisture flashes to steam and the stone explodes. It was interesting that the fire caused the rock above to spault and fall into the fire, giving you a nice flat cooking stone that was already heated. Usind it would have been safer.

I love these vids but there is an element of falseness about them. He trekked up through the woods, hard going but when he took a short walk for water, there was a dirt road at the bottom of the hill. Why not walk up from the road. Plus you could see lights amongst the trees. Not as far from civilization as he would want you to think.

Nobody in their right mind knows you don't take a rock from water to be used near a fire, 9 times out of 10 it will explode and then you will be in a world of hurt. I hate to be picky but I can tell you haven't done this long but at least you are trying. You live in a beautiful area and with a little more practice your videos will get better. We all have made stupid mistakes, just don't make the dangerous ones. Keep working at it and do a little research.
