This time I'm in Mezovit, aka Öküzyatağı. The place where the oxen are released at the beginning of summer. Oxen live a full wildlife here until autumn.
This is the northern slope of the Kaçkar Mountains. The place where those who want to summit camp. But for the summit, this is the difficult route. That's why I peaked from the other slope (Dilberdüzü) on August 11th. Of course, alone again.
• Karadeniz'in En Yüksek...
On August 16, we started climbing with Şahin and Esma couple from Yukarı Kavron Plateau. It was a blessing to meet them. We had a nice climb together. When they arrived at Mezovit, they took their pictures and returned. And I was the only one left in the huge campsite. Oxen and me. I also surrounded my tent with stones so that the oxen would not disturb them.
On the morning of August 17, I woke up to a magnificent view.
