Really loved this video !! Hope to do this trail soon !
We just hiked there in July waterfalls are kinda dry but man is it beautiful and secluded.
So cool to see the Famous Red Backpack start its Maiden Voyage 😁. The yellow BigA tent always looks like you're hiking with a baguette 🥖 in the back pocket 🤣 I just love your simple, compact pack system. Thanks again for another great video covering an area I never get to.
Hiked there but never tried backpacking. Thanks
I've never seen this area. Must've been nice having the falls to yourself. Enjoyed the trip, thank you.
Nice trip! I was almost going to say you had it to yourself until the next morning. lol That chili did look good! I had never heard of those falls until now. Thank you!
Living vicariously through your videos. Thanks for bringing us along. Love this trail. Hiked it once back in my younger years. Thanks again for the memories.
Very nice. Made me feel like I was there. I've got this hike on my bucket list.
Thanks for taking us along! What an epic campsite.
Time to quit work and get out on the trails! Live in and Love Colorado but I miss the Sierras! Always love your vids and need to hit those spots. Thanks so much for all your sharing.
I am hiking Chilnualna Falls in two weeks. Thank you for the amazing views. I hope the falls still have water running.
You have new suscribe amigo .

Thankyou for sharing this hidden gem trail !! Awesome beautiful vid .
Amazing video! You have inspired me to do an overnight trip to Chilnualna Falls with my brother this Saturday. I live in Fresno so I have been to Yosemite more times than I can count but I have never done this trail. Appreciate all your great footage, it truly is some of the best I have seen. Happy Hiking!

@@Sheety33 Thank You, will do!
It seems that you were at the perfect place in perfect time. Very nice.
This is a fresh hike! I've done it many times. A permit is required. Bears on the trial and rattle snakes too. Keep an eye and bring your bear box if you stay overnight.
Sweet campsite you scored! And another great video...thanks for sharing this great location!
I have hiked up there before obviously but I never knew or thought about camping up there. Pretty nice!
All the time I spent in Yosemite I never went there to Chilnualna Falls. Thanks for the views, wonderful place. Do a video of the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir trail, it's magnificent and rarely if ever crowded.
Looks like snow isnt a problem now. Great work. Thanks

Radnally no problems on this trail - highest elevation I reached was about 6,500 feet.
Love those sounds
I can smell this video.. boy I can't wait to go back!!
STUNNING!
Really enjoyed watching your backpacking overnighter! That looks like the perfect trail. I’ll have to check it out too. Loving your channel!
2019 was a great year for waterfalls in Yosemite.

Sure was! Hoping this winter is heavy!
I discovered that little gem a couple of weeks back. Enjoyed your video, keep up the good work. Happy trails!
Excellent views man, solid experience.
Given the amount of snowfall in the Sierra Nevada this year I am quite surprised at the lack of it in this video. Regardless, another superb vid, very well done. And I'm being redundant here but thank-you again for not tacking on some unnecessary and detracting music, your vids are so wonderfully filmed that the finished product speaks for itself -- no soundtrack required. Finally -- if the two of you are not already considering it may I suggest a trek up to and across the Sonora Pass? Otherworldly beauty up there. Or would that require more time than what's available for your trekking this season? Again, thank-you kindly for another great video and I'm looking forward to the next one, and the one after that, and the one after that, and the one aft -- you get my point. Cheers!

kw19193 thanks a lot!! No snow in the video since the snow line was above where I hiked during the time of year. I only got up to about 6,500 feet of elevation. I would absolutely love to get up to Sonara Pass - I saw pictures of it last year and it appears to be otherworldly! I have my sights set on a section hike of the JMT later this summer, and in between several overnighters...would like to get Sonora in at some point this summer if I can.

kw19193 What trailhead do you suggest for the Sonora Pass area... from point to point? Since there's probably more than one, is there one that you think is the best? Thanks.
Great editing with the panning walking clips
Very cool . . .
A great video
I visited Yosemite this year. I can't wait to go back and camp. Did you have to carry your food in a bear container? Also, did you have to get a permit to camp overnight?
Beautiful place! Thinking of making a trip there myself too. Were you not concerned about any animals?
What hat is that you're wearing? Really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work!

I Love Yosemite and have been there once. I have been waiting for a channel like yours. Is there wild life like cougars and bears there? Can you talk about how you navigate that? Also how to get a permit?
@Sheety33

Sara B thank you! There are cougars and bears...they are more leery and worried about you than you are of them. They see and hear you coming before you see them. By that point they have run away and you didn’t even know they were there. Happy trails!

Nothing says excitement like watching tea steep. But I would have fought you for some of that delicious looking chili. I did miss your girlfriend. It's always fun to see wildlife in its native habitat.
