thank you so much for sharing the happiness in watching our military reunions with returning pet companions. they warm my heart.

the people who run such charities are amazing and under valued. they do what they do to heel the agony of separation between man/woman and dog ironically putting themselves through that same agony because they love and care for these dogs, then have to give them up. it's very honourable and self sacrificing what they do. they have my utmost respect and admiration

First off, this is awesome. It's a damned nice thing for folks to do. But let me tell you all a secret... you pay for the gas and a private pilot who owns his own plane will fly *anywhere* to do *anything* . Not even joking 'bout that one.

Are you referring to Pilots for Paws? They donate their time & fuel not only in cases like this one but transporting rescue animals as well. They have been doing this for years & have helped thousands of animals & people, thanks guys!
