The following is an excerpt from a complete module from Tom Clum Sr.'s Solid Archery Mechanics - Full course dropping soon at www.thepusharchery.com/pack
This particular teaching module is titled: "Shot Sequence : How We Learn"
This course will be a full one-on-one shooting clinic with NTS Level 4 Archery Coach Tom Clum, Sr., one of the most respected men in the Traditional Archery Community, who also appears regularly on our Podcast and "Coaching Moments" episodes. Upon purchase, you will "own" the course with the ability to watch it through as many times as you want. It is also mobile-phone friendly so you can take it to the range with you to work on specific aspects of your shot.
The most important part to mention is that this will be a living, breathing, and evolvinig course. New modules will be added to the course when new information is learned and becomes available. So, a one-time purchase will get you access to all future updates as well.
Since Day One of the birth of "The Push" in that old wooden barn with the chickens running around, our mission has been to "Help expedite the Traditional Archery learning curve." This course is the ultimate example of that, and we couldn't be more thrilled to play a small part in it.
Decide to succeed.

I too am trying to overcome decades of poor mechanics. Hell at 8 y.o. I was shooting my first fiberglass bow left handed not knowing about dominant eye shooting. It was comforting to see such a renowned instructor share that he too suppers from this. THERE IS HOPE!

Very useful information, thanks for sharing this. Joel Turner's concept of the sequenced and controlled shot has changed my shooting with both, compound and recurve forever. This is the stuff that you need to know and follow if you want to get it right, period.

I shoot 3D barebow, not the easiest catergory,, and like most people, have become aware of bad habits bringing my scores down. Now working hard on curing this, and have to say, this is one of the best tutorial videos Ive ever seen -- and Ive seen a lot!

So glad I came upon this . Reminded me that I am not following a simple shot sequence I did set for myself. Thank you.

Miss shooting with you in the shop man! I will say now that if I ever travel back to Denver from GA the highest on the list of places to visit is RMSG. I didn't even know how much I loved "bows and arrows" until I shot my first arrow and that was only a few months before I wandered in. Your patience and instruction is still in the back of my head years later. I still need to buy one of Paul's bows from you guys, too! Someday. Thanks for the videos, dude.

Interesting I'm always interested in the different archery styles. Recently started using a Asiatic method and my grouping has shrunk to 18in at 45yrds with a 60lb flatbow.

I’m pretty sure I’m positioning bow shoulder wrong, how do you do it/what are you trying to feel so you know your bow shoulder is in the right position?

Where can I get some of those rubber bands? I wonder if it's normal for people not to draw far enough, I feel like if I was able to then my anchor would not be correct. Thoughts? I am planning on buying the pack you offer. It makes sense so much.

Good information. Poking a little fun at you. I generally refrain from describing my self as an EXCERPT. Why you ask, because if you dissect the word-- An EX is a has been, A spert is a drip of water under pressure. LOL

I dont agree, archery is a conscious process, if you dont have control over what you are doing then you will never be a good shot.
