emichelle19 While I agree, I am not optimistic that our government has the ability to coordinate things in such a way that it doesn't happen. Of course while I am grateful for their service, I think it probably is not a good idea for both parents of a child to be in the military at the same time.

nunya biznez emichelle19 It is not the governments responsibility to make sure that there is a parent at home, that falls upon the parents. Plus, the government has no right to decide what is best for the family. It is like here in Sweden. Where we have paid parental leave, feminazis are complaining that it is always women who stay at home with the kids and the men work. Now they made sure that they had to both take time off, to split the ammount of time given. Even if one of the parent has a better paying job or not. Government should decide a lot in everyday life. But when it comes to your family, they should just stay the f away :)

stoffni The military is supposed to prevent this from happening. When I was on active duty, they ensured married couples weren't deployed at the same time. The military IS a family, and we take care of our own. For them to both be deployed, leaving their daughter in another's care, caused undue hardship on them both.

Just to let you guys know how rare it is to have both spouses in the military, less than one percent of military families can say that. My aunt and uncle are both retired Air Force and they have three kids. I know how hard it is for kids of soldiers especially those with two active duty parents. I just want to state the obvious, I could never imagine what it would be like to have a parent gone for 9 months. That being said, I could never have both my parents gone at the same time. Whoever has disliked this video has no heart and have no pride for people who risk their lives. Welcome home. Thank you for your service, it is greatly appreciated. This video made me cry tears of joy. Recently a family friend came to one of my cheer events and surprised me there and I cried the happiest year that I had in a long time. I didn’t think that I would ever get to experience something like this but I did and it was awesome getting to see someone that I loved so much come home. Edit: Thank to all the people in the medical fields right now for helping people with corona. That is a risky job and i admire every nurse and doctor who is risking their lives right now.

both parents deployed at the same time. Wooo, poor little girl, is like grow up without parents, and the fear that loose both. When civil women have to comeback to their work at the same town of the baby and leave the baby just for 8 hours is too difficult I can´t even think what feel leave a baby and go to another country, I don't know if I can do that.

I watched a lot of military coming home videos but this has made me cry harder than any other video ever has I pray that this little girl's parents and everyone's parents in military or any other service comes home safe and sound

Thank you for serving our country but thank you more for being awesome parent to that little girl

I can't believe that little girl has both parents deployed. That is truly heart breaking. I feel so bad for her.

I have no idea how that little girl might have grown up without having her parents beside her physically. Hats off to those parents who are serving for their country and not getting to see their children. This made me cry so much.

I can't tell you how grateful I am to all of the brave, kind souls who fought for our country. Love and joy make the world a better place

So sad this little girl they never should have deployed both of her parent's at the same time. If they're both in the service then one needs to be home with the little girl. That's just not right to have both parent's gone at the same time at all to sad especially for the little girl.

SHE DOESNT HAVE ONE SHES DEPLOYED!! Well, that escalated quickly.. I almost thought the little girl was going to start crying after she said that. But she's Army Strong!

That's just amazing....Welcome home Soldiers

These parents/soldiers are brave to be deployed and serve their country! But they are braver to leave their daughter alone with someone else while they serve and protect! Hats off to all of them!
