"Soldier's dance" - The Alexandrov Ensemble (1965)
Музыка
"Soldier's dance" performed by the Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army.
Moscow, 1965.
The music here has the same name - "Soldier's dance" and was written by Vladimir Alexandrov, the brother of Boris Alexandrov and the Director and the conductor of the Orchestra, specially for this dance.
This rare and historic program was filmed on location of "Sparrow Hills" (Vorobiovy Gory) in Moscow in the former Soviet Union.
The brilliant Ensemble consisted of about 200 entertainers including a choir and choreographic troupe, who traveled the front lines, entertaining Soviet troops by performing more than 1500 concerts during World War II.

@sophiacalon3463 Thank you for your reply. You were blessed with professional training, as I was a small, happy child, fascinated with a world full of new things to learn and imitate. The artistry and technical skills of dancers, gymnasts, et al inspire so many of us to naively "step up" and try our hand

Nah..it would've been better because of the nuclear threats. So in the end, I'm fine with usa losing an American-Soviet dance off competition. Though, the soviet union would've still collapsed as it ended up being a financial battle and hate to break it to the radical socialists and commies from the US, capitalism with a bit of social programs will always reign Supreme over radical socialist/communist backbone. Все люди на Земле братья,мы одной крови, неважно какой мы национальности и расы, надеюсь, что когда-нибудь мы это поймём🤍🌍🙌🏻

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere, but it seems like the Aviation soldiers (the ones in blue outfits) have dance moves that are air/jumping/spinning based, and the Ground soldiers (infantry, in the red outfits) have dance moves that are ground based. Really cool symbolism there, and then two soldiers of different types of army start dancing together at the end, symbolising friendship between the two groups, very heart warming!
