1974 Dodge Sportsman 28' Midas Camper/RV. Has 360 2bbl & automatic. Needs some work. 61,XXX original miles.
Bought last year as a project...and you know the rest :)
Does NOT start. Last ran 3 or 4 years ago. Has interior water damage, but is very fixable.
Fix it up or turn it into a tiny home.
Will have to be towed. I've contacted the fellow that towed it for me last year and he said he'd be happy to tow it for the same price. Charged me $200 to from Cookeville, TN to Byrdstown, TN (45 miles).

Those old Dodge vans were very comfortable believe it or not.
I did enjoy this...I've been a mechanic for a long time...the gizmo that you thought was a regulator is the electronic ignition module...it has to be grounded before the coil will fire..

That was the regulator hanging there. At 13:20 you can see the ignition module bolted to the firewall. The best thing to do with these old Dodges is to put a more modern fuel injected engine in them, I did that with my 83 Dodge 4x4 and never looked back. Mileage, power and starting are amazing over what the old carbureted engines can offer.
Great for a utility / toy hauler build ! To bad you sold it , but it probably had black mold in it , thanks for showing .

I wish I could find something like this that's where I would be living till the day I died and that's the truth. And I go to where nobody could ever find me other than my children and that would be it and I'd come out of my little cranny when I wanted to I'm 74 I've dealt with the world I don't like it anymore but I love my family they're my everything.
