Love the 1000 acres next to property, that in itself is a monster deal...
Holy crap what a nice place. But over 5k a year in taxes is a deal killer.

Oh my God that house, landscaping...just everything is amazingly perfect! The nearly 7 acres abutting up to state preservation/quad trails is exactly what we are looking for (except we have to wait 1 more year for the youngest to get settles into her college) so we can RUN...not walk ...OUT of this cruddy tax crazed state of CT. We LOVE our town, just hate the taxes...and CT feels it needs to push more and more taxes on everyone...we have a VERY similar house/land/yard as this one...if we could pick up our home and yard and move it to Maine lol. Thank you for this wonderful video, we love you guys!!!!

Funny to see another CT person looking to move to ME. We are up there several times a year winter and Summer vacationing all around. Rangeley is where my heart lives.
A beautiful house but it doesn't have my 40 acres or more with no neighbors. I was looking at the surrounding area when you were showing the arial pictures. But I loved that you couldn't see the property from the road 🙌. That's perfect.

I can not imagine how much they would be asking for that house and land if it was here in England, obviously it would totally depend on where it was located here but as a rough idea surely I would think $600,000 to $800,000 here in my hometown. Totally Fantastic value for money, I don’t actually know the area as I’ve never been to Maine but I think he said 4 hours from Boston so not to far to go see my Red Sox at Fenway Park 😃😃

Hey it’s always lovely to hear from an American 🇺🇸 ……you made my day! I used to live in WV for 8 years, my wife originally comes from WV, I’m separated these days. I went through Newark on my way back to JFK in Feb 2018, I’d been out in Wyoming visiting friends.

In Maine, its nothing to plow 300 to 400 feet of driveway. I live off grid and plow 3 miles.

@@efficacyled4401 Bagor has a reputation for crime, drugs, theft... but there are a lot of places like that in usa. Every home should have infrared cameras, no matter. Things will get trickier as the economy spirals downward.

Camden is the most beautiful town along the sea, and last year they had signs in their business windows stating you couldn't come in w/o the cover or v. Stay Rural; freer and less property tax.
