@@pats9414 cool if I ripped it at the legal limit here in Texas for Lumio it’d make me 82,500 and other people could possibly get more depending on their performance. But we tend to give home owners a better deal on a larger system.

So I'm in solar rn and I get mixed responses by others in the field cause my step mom is a real estate agent and tells me that financing solar doesn't raise the value of the house only payed off anyone give me some more info about it to counter the argument?

You can wrap it into a mortgage and pay it off instantly there are also green appraisers who will add value to the appraisal with a green certificate

Thats because of the old program that puts a lein on your roof. That's leasing. The new program is ownership, and it raises the value, brother.

There are different ways to counter this . Although I use this . Mam, hypothetically, say we are shopping for 2023 cars. 1 has the ability to get fuel at $1.00 a gallon for the next 25 years. It's part of the guarantee! The other car , WITH THE EXACT SAME FEATURES. Is priced at $1.50 "probably higher" but for our hypothetical evaluation. Although the $1.50 will compile by a minimum of 4% annually. The # doubles usually over the course of a 25 year loan period. So where car 1 is @ $1 gas bill in 25 years. Car 2 gas bill will be $2 or more in 25 years.

@@pats9414 you have a few options you can either 1. Refinance to include the mortgage into the solar system loan which is a lower interest rate typically especially on new mortgages or 2. add what has been paid off already to be included into the mortgage when you sell the house and add a term to send that portion to you to reimburse yourself for the investment. Leaving the remaining several years and warranty to the new homeowner. 3. Wrap the entire system investment into the mortgage minus the tax credit if you qualified for it making it 33% less and write a term into the sell of the house to recover your previously paid payments and send the remaining balance to the lender instantly paying the system off on purchase of the property. You have a few options and you can choose your preferred option. A good Realtor can sale the added value and a Green appraiser can get it listed with the tax office as a higher value. It does add value you just have to understand how to capitalize on that value.
