The Antares 23e! But I thought that the wing span was ~75 feet.
As always great designs and aircraft.but also always priced out of the range of those they would help the most....
beautiful, i've have suggested to add Solar on electric airplanes cars, trucks buses trains just about everything everywhere electricity is used & needed. The sun is stronger up in the sky when/where there are NO clouds.
All of the young ladies of Minds Eye Design are Spectacular . Just absolutely gorgeous.
Love the gliders.
OUTSTANDING! Several if these are in production with, I believe, the Pipestral Alpha Electro being the first in the U.S. certified electric aircraft.
Awesome video. Such beautiful aircrafts
WWI Luftwaffe. Oh this was a joy to watch... Oh to be young again. Thanks Minds Eye.
Outstanding video! The Pipestral Electro was the first FAA certified electric aircraft in the US. Also, the foot launched electric micro lift sail plane was listing at $89,000.
I thank you for this wonderful app. It keeps me updated about the future. I really I joy your site.
Nice video.
3:50 #10 Looks just like The XP-55!

Hello Anarchy420, thank you for watching!
I can't help but wonder what will happen in heavy winds
A couple are established designs with electric motors, I recognised the cri cri, and the Long ez
2:00 The Alice, with engines mounted on the wing tips it doesn’t look like it’s got enough rudder for control with one of them failed. Maybe the centre engine has enough power that it can fly quite ok on just it. I’m sure they know what they are doing.
These are great looking air craft and I really enjoyed watching this video, even thou I do not like flying!!!!!!
The Trivia, was a picture of Baron Von Richthofen (The Red Baron) In Northern France. The aircraft designs are wonderful. Thanks for showing us this amazing tech.
Trivia question: 2 pics from WWI. The first is a scene from air ops of the Allied side, most likely French or British. The second is the most recognizable aircraft of the era: the Fokker D-VII, known best as 'the Fokker triplane' for it's three main wings. It was the craft of the German ace, leading ace of the war, Baron Manfred von Richtofen: "The Red Baron" because his craft was all red. The first pic may have been a Sopwith Camel, the plane most commonly credited with shooting down the Baron, as piloted by Canadian Lt Roy Brown, but more recent forensic examinations lend more credence to the claim of a ground gunnery battery as the actual firepower responsible for taking down the Baron.
Antares 23e! But I thought it’s wing span was ~75’.
The Eviation Alice is my fav. Power, range and capacity. Very nice. Maybe it's time to re-initiate SATS.
Very clever inventions.
That last one is cool..but i still want an aero 5
Great video
This is the future. Fossil plane will be assigned to museums.
All of them
German tri-plane. Used extensibly in WW-1 by Germany with great effect.
isn't that the plane used by the famous german pilot the red baron aka Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen? the plane being the the Fokker F1 tri-plane.
Awesome...I'm an Aircraft Mechanic, I think this is awesome..cant wait

Great looking planes. Were I a lot younger, I'd be flying electric. Instead, I fly models and yes, I am working on a solar powered one!

great videa, keepem coming" cheers. Iwould guess its ww1 italian air force.
Next video on hydrogen aircraft?
I. Sikorsky's projects are back in force Now with electric motors and a lightweight version!
#4 is a Flintstone aircraft. #3 should be accompanied by Ralph Hinckley.
Love video
Solar Aircraft: you time has come to "show us what you can do: in the face of providing entrepreneurs /busy executives/new vibes of electric alternatives to be considered for air flights! My stand-out list: #14, #13 EV Aviation Alice (nicely named: like a great office support; she will be a Company's greatest asset with meetings! #7 from Slovenia: will give the Slovenian Dancers something to dance for while attracting attention! #2 Solar Impulse, Switzerland will be a CEO's best "employee" #1 It's already been Aviation Authority Certified: now it can receive the attention it deserves to capture the attention of businesses worldwide!
The Red Baron and Albatros Aircraft
One long series of infomercials.
The aircraft is, I believe, a German WW1 Triplane.
I like #8
Bonnie McMurray!!
It seems to me none of these aircraft can put up with any kind of weather.
It would be cool to have a solar plane (the kind that could fly 24hrs) that had vertical lift/landing, and when grounded you could rotate the wings back for better maneuverability & storage. Maybe even water landing options..
@sandeephunjan

that should be simple! I'll get right to it - would you like submarine options also ?

Good Job !

Thank you! Cheers!
Do any of these planes have regenerative charging.? Ta!
not to be a downer, but Antares 23E recently had a crash 8 August 2021 where the 57 year old pilot lost their life, and is still being investigated as to the cause of the crash.
How do they fly at night?
I get I’m not up on the technology, and this may be the future... but as batteries age they decline. So they all will have shorter flight times, and one that lasts an hour will start getting seriously shorter. I have this image of saying Honey, I’m flying to Vegas, fly an hour, landing somewhere and begging someone to let me charge, then 3 hours later taking off to repeat the process. By the time I get to Vegas 18 hours later I find a note from the wife and kids “Sorry we missed you, see you at Home!”

You would be going against electric's strengths. I don't think that long range should be their goal anytime soon (if ever), what these are going to be great for is cheap short range. If you want to reach hundreds of miles, ICEs will probably always remain king.
fantastic video, bit more flight time with rite music and ya laughing, cheers, MINT" SHOW.
Колись мріяли,а воно уже прийшло👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇦
The trivia question, would appear to be two photos taken from different times in WW1. In both photos, the unit insignia on the side of the fuselage between the cockpit and the empennage, has been blurred - probably to make working out where and when the photo was taken harder. In the first photo, the uniforms place the men as being Imperial German Army Air Service. The man standing on the ground in the middle of the photo, in front of the cockpit of what appears to be an Albatros D.2 , is consistent in height and facial features, as being Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen - aka " The Red Baron". This would place the unit as being probably either Jagdstaffel 2, Oswald Boelke's original unit from 1916 that Manfred was a pilot in, or Jagstaffel 11 which he commanded as squadron leader in 1917. Jagdgeschwader 1, the wing he later commanded, had different model Albatros aircraft, which you can pick from fuselage and wing shape, and Halberstadt D.II's. The second photo is an early model Fokker Dr.1 Triplane, produced from August 1917. While Manfred is popularly associated with this type of plane, he only got 17 out of his 80 victories in it. The early one was found to have a weakness when thrown around in violent aerobatic maneuvers. As a result, it had to have stronger wings . Manfred would only fly the triplane exclusively, when the later model with stronger wings came out in November 1917

As I saw the triplane I thought of the red baron. Thanks for the rest of the information.
I have an interest in solar powered flight, the Sunseker Duo is the aircraft that catches my attention Electric propelled transportation is inevitable. There will be advancements in battery capacity, advancements in electric motors, and what I hope the development of a very small reactor that can fit in a car. In theory unless the driver really pushes the car, it would be unlikely for the batteries to run dry for the typical passenger vehicle.
Red Baron and Fokker = quiz photo.
bloody red baron!!
FUture video on electric rotorcraft to include "Lift Aircrafts Hexa"
Why do they mount the motors so weirdly?
Red Baron
I like the Rupert "Leap of Faith" Swiss glider. Good recommendation for all Christians.
But hey, the E 430 was the first ever certfied electric UL in the world.. I flew the testflights for Yuneec E430.. would not recommend it for beginner pilots..hahhhhaaa... also V600, I made the roll tests and one single "jump" in the air, but no other plae was that much scary, The development was stopped.
That is a WW1 Focker Triplane. The type flown by the Red Baron. Von Richthofen. One of the deadliest pilots ever fly. Respected and feared by friend and foe.
Sunseeker
Nice looking aircrafts,im a design models myself,I prefer the figures ones beter, and I'm not an engineer..!?
Great until the battery dies. Hope it glided well.
That is a German Tri-plane that was used successfully in WW-1.
At 1:58 - the designers realized their big "oops" of putting the props at the wingtips. One landing in a stiff crosswind would wipe out a propeller possibly cause other damage. They wisely abandoned that configuration.
👍
How about a hybrid system of solar powered multiple electric plasma jets with argon gas supplements on a ramjet based structure that supports vtol and other fighter jet capabilities?
Andddd….. they all cost over half a million dollars for the capability of a 3 grand second hand microlight.
I think it is time China, Japan, South Korea, India, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia create solar electric aircraft, and passenger boat manufacturing plants.
Being electric eliminates many risk factors. A combination of electric solar and glider could be a very good option for future private transport. But still a lot depends on developments in light weight quick charge cells,, yet to come. Nobody trying electric helicopters, or VTOL.

New concept, different from classic form of Airplane,is needed to do build good solar Airplane as final goal.Breaktrough in battery technology is yet about to be made and it is difficult job to do.Musk talked upon that, how difficult is use car batteryes in aviation of that new kind.Might be fruitful observe nature or chinese kites forms to develop new koncept?
Folker D Tri-Plane
WATCH THIS VIDEO AND FEEL THE TENSION LIFT. IT REALLY IS ENJOYABLE!!
May I suggest this minds eye design? In the trivia question(s) such as the 6:30 part in m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/n65o1K-qadzaZ7w.html I was thinking that in the next video that you would mention those who commented both right and wrong answers to the trivia, but if the list of answers/comment-ers are too long to mention all of them, make a video or new KZread channel for only to show who out of those who answered the trivia was right and who was wrong and make an app or social media account/server that shows us commented KZreadrs who is in the leaderboard. If you have any questions about what I am trying to explain, I can either screen shot this comment and send it to your outlook account so you can reply or just reply to this comment.

Fowker DR1
Its a German Fokker DH1 Otherwise known as the Fokker triplane era ww1
практика определит лучший вариант. стоит отдать первенство конструкциям с винтами в задней части аппаратов: тогда вся конструкция обтекается невозмущенньім, ламинарньім потоком. время полета удлинняется при ламинарном обтекании.
Unbelievable for india
wrigth brother
My guess is the first plane is a German albatross and the second is a Dehaviland triplane, images arent very telling.
British, WW1, tri-plane.
i believe that in the future airplanes will have electric motors to lift them in flight like a drone before being powered by conventional engines during flight. these motors will only be used for take offs and landings though....
@rowgler1

Thats a great idea, but I think you have it backward. If Hybrid planes used petrol based fuels in designated engines to get them off the ground, they could switch over to electric once they got to cruising altitude. Solar cells on the wings could charge lightweight batteries when parked, then drive electric props in flight. They could have smaller fuel tanks and use the energy more efficiently.

Trivia. Baron Von Richtofen’s Flying Circus circa 1916-17 first plane in photo is a Fokker the other is the DH-1 tri-wing. Contrary to pop culture not many of these were built and they could be a real bitch to fly.
