Connecting batteries in parallel increases Ah. Connecting in series increases volts. But here's the cool thing, both increase capacity. for example, a 12V 100Ah battery has 1200Wh (12V x 100Ah = 1200Wh). Two wired in series = 24V x 100Ah = 2400Wh total. Two wired in parallel = 12V x 200Ah = 2400Wh. Same Wh capacity, just different volts and amp hours.

Don't forget that the gel cells can add to your thermal mass without the need for ventilation

Battery BANK??? You need to do a separate course for small, vehicle-mounted systems, One panel, one battery, no inverter, one controller. Fuck battery banks.
