Solar Eclipse Day 200km (124 miles) Brevet

Спорт

My local bike shop, Campus Wheelworks, organized a 200km brevet to be ridden on the day of the solar eclipse. Seeing as the route came within a couple miles of my house I rode out of my front door, picked up the route, then rode to the shop to meet up with the other randonneurs for the day.
The route took us south through the city, eastwards through East Aurora, eventually turned north towards by Six Flags Darien Lake, then through the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge where we stopped to watch the eclipse. From there the route continued through Lockport and picked up the Erie Canal Trail to head back into Buffalo.
This was my longest ride to date at just over 130 miles! Special thanks to Claudia and Pat for riding with me, and extra thanks to Pat again for building such a great route and organizing the whole ride.

Hi, great route and great video. Is there something special you use to show your ride data as an UI on your videos?

Thank you! I use a piece of software called Telemetry Overlay to add the ride data.
