Got it and love it, the pod body fits perfect into the large side pocket of the undercover camo rucksack.

Had this pod a season, it's been awsome.

I have this pod, I recently switched to just using the base of it though. Paired the base with Sonik Stanz buzz bars (due to the 3 screw threads on the bottom) meaning I can switch between pod or stage stands without taking alarms off/changing buzz bars. Also using the Fox QR bank sticks with it so any way I decide to go it's set up and ready to use/pack away in less than 30 seconds.

@@joecotter9014 I did use the whole of it for around a season then just swapped out the rest of the parts recently. All in all I think it worked out cheaper than the Fox QR pod and gives space for all my reels on the buzz bars (which I don't think the QR pod did).

I had a 2nd hand A1 which I really liked until it broke :( I then bought a new Sonik Vader RS pod for the same reason - very similar design, just sturdier - and cheaper! Doesn't pack down quite as small, but still quick and easy to throw together, and looks great

@@twincamspit Well i bought it to try it. I had some issues with it, like rotating center pole, but what pisses me the most r those "FAN" legs, where u put bank sticks. There is no stopper, so u can FAN them out in different positions and then u have align it with "goal post" if im sayin it correctly and even after u put bank sticks in, u can still have it in some funny angles. I like Nash Tackle 2 rod pod in this way. Similiar design, but it has stoppers on those legs, so u can set it in 90° angle only, therefore its already aligned for "goal post". Wish Sonik would make some update on this :D

@@mrogy You're right about no stopper, you can fan them out to take different width goal-posts no problem (e.g. when you want the 'fan' style 3-rod arrangement) - not with Sonik's own fixed width posts though, so I agree. It would have made sense for them to fold out and stop in the correct position, rather than having to adjust to put the posts through and then align by eye to get the correct angle. Still rate the Sonik higher than the Solar for durability though, even ignoring the price differences.

Ridiculous double snag ears. All about selling crap to anglers they don’t need. Aluminum won’t last more than a few seasons. Bankstick tips will lose the point on hard surfaces. Like mine did

nice kit, called buzzer bars, not the type you might buy a women 🤣🤣

Paint finish terrible - not hardwearing at all - chips very easily
