I have the 2 rod version of the pod, my 10ft ext rods sit on it really nicely, 12ft rods are ok, but look like they should topple over as they overhang so much. One little thing you missed that is quite handy is that the feet can go in 3 different positions, depending on which way up you put the bracket - widely spread like you had it, vertical or something in-between.

I like the look of the tripod, but would likely end up buying a pair of them. The way I'd use them I may as well just buy a pod!

I have a Fishcon tripod and I love the construction, only heavy in weight.. A dutch sonik movie once showed one in black aluminium. Was that a concept? When its going to be on the market?

I have just bought this pod and where you move the spike to the sell center so it can be pushed into the ground. This is no longer possible as the threads are not long enough to come out at the bottom. So I can only assume they have changed the design

I have the 3 rod. Love it. But I feel the cam locks are a bit flimsy.

It’s the same with all of the bank sticks and buzz bars I had a set bars were wobbly after one use and the cam locks are poor wouldn’t buy sonik the quality is really poor

I use extractor rods 10ft paired with diawa gs 4000 awesome rods for the price

No need for stage stands. The centre bar has two holes, one at either end to screw straight into the staging. Just unscrew the legs. I have the 3 rod version and can't fault it.

@@paulholmes8211Wow and here we have the exact problem with the carping world, I’m guessing you have a titan bivvy with a jag pod and delks with a beautiful set of basias, as I always say, each to their own, the point I was making is if you’re doing a video promoting items and giving information then surely saying how much it is falls under that category 🤷‍♂️ anyway got to shoot off, argos has a sale on and I want to get in early to buy my new set up 👍

If you look online every product has an RRP price. However, the real prices vary so much nowadays. Why don't you use Google and search like everyone else does 😴😴

Have the sticks, the cam lock mechanisms don’t stop the top twisting .. not massively impressed.

Never trust a pod where you can't get your butt rings behind the alarms, it's a disaster waiting to happen on anything but a loose clutch.

@@FixDylann I've had it happen 6 times in the last 2yrs on my lake with mini pods and people fishing tight clutches. I've started leaving a leash in the snaggy swims so I can at least advise them a way to stop the fish towing the rod into the lake. Having to take the boat out to retrieve someones gear and risk a fish towing the whole lot around or getting tethered isn't much fun.
