I've been listening non stop to Keaton Henson, I just found his music and can't get enough. Soko, on the other hand, is not new for me and I love her so much. When I found her years ago I couldn't believe it either. And now THIS, I'm in shock, I had no idea they dated.

“You gave up on me way too fast” always reminds me of my ex boyfriend. He was my first love and the love of my life. It was a long distance relationship. My mental illnesses put an enormous strain on our relationship and I feel like he gave up on me and our relationship after I attempted suicide. I still blame myself. As Soko sings, I tried to kill the worst of me to be the best for him but then he didn’t like that I had changed and was happier and more accepting.

I have been crying about a breakup for months now, relating to every single sad song I heard, but for the first time I'm crying for someone else and feeling her pain instead. Sorry Soko, I feel you.

I followed both artists for years, I had no idea. Now I understand. Its so much about the human condition with relationships of love and what happens after, we all know this, each one.....

I recognized that Soko tried to cope by making negative accusations and being frustrated while Keaton tried to cope through understanding and bring out her positive sides.

Sorry old reply but Keaton just didn't name her in the songs. Or any other relationships with women. I'm pretty sure based on everything I've heard of his is based on ALL his relationships and his anxiety/pain. Until recently, when he started to take medications and his musical sound/lyrics changed. I'm a longtime massive fan of Keatons.

thats some pretty powerful junk, the cello ruined my poor heart!

Oldie but: I swear to you, this is sounds every relationship I've been in and around where one suffers from a mental illness. In this case I think they both were struggling when together. Keaton seems to be doing better. I don't know Sokos music so no idea there. I just hope they are happy now. Not my business:) It SUCKS ugh

Keaton is afraid of commitment so much so that he can't seem to overcome It. Or was. Not sure about now. I understand Keatons struggle. If that is the case.

All these positive comments.. I think this is horrible: the cello sounds way too hard, the guitar sounds horrible and her voice doesn't impress me to be honest. I do like Keaton Henson though.
