Wer hätte das gedacht? Die acht Jungs von Soja aus Virginia gehören zu den erfolgreichsten Bands, die Reggae derzeit zu bieten hat, und das, obwohl die USA nicht gerade als Keimzelle des Genres gelten.
Die "Soldiers Of Jah Army", wie Soja ausgeschrieben heißen, spielen ausverkaufte Konzerte und arbeiten mit lebenden Legenden wie Damian Marley zusammen. Ihr Geheimnis: In ihren Reggae-Sound mischen sie Alternative Rock, Hardcore und HipHop. In ihren Texten setzen sie sich für Umweltschutz ein und machen auf den Klimawandel aufmerksam. Bei ihren Konzerten wird jedes Publikum zu einer eingeschworenen Gemeinschaft.

A lot of feelings come to the surface listening to this
I’ve been listening to this band since 2011, seen them so many times, and love them so much. The past few years they just look so bored playing live and it’s really depressing.

Interesting fact; The lead singer, wrote faith works and wrote most of the songs for this band. His name is bobby. He often wrotes lyrica for ye backing vocalist who's name is jacob.
