Lyrics :
It sends me back in time
From all the symbols and signs to you
So I’ll take down that shield again
Every thought every feeling I preciously overspent
Let me see every fire that’s burning
Let me worship the days ahead
Despite a sudden change
I am bound to feel the same, the same
The same until the valleys of gloam calls my name
It breaks the silence of mine
Erases words between lines too soon
I would ease all those worries within a blink
Drag my faith through the waters and offer you everything
Let me see every fire that’s burning
Let me worship the days ahead
Despite a sudden change
I am bound to feel the same, the same
The same
I’d run my feet to the bone on cold and cobbled streets
Anything to make you weep, to catch you in your sleep
Our world was blind, but we stood side by side
But then my soul went through all those darker times

I remember when NBC totally blew me away and introduced me to harsh vocals. Now, so many years later, I come back to this band and the sound of their new albums is SO different. And I love it! This album is amazing.
Soilwork is one of those bands that just do not produce a bad album

The album is a masterpiece. I expected it to be good and solid, but it totally exceeds my expactations! Absolutley beautifuil! MUCHE LOVE GUYS, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!
You guys are the Masters of Metal, I play you loud in my car with windows down, play you late at night when I am alone on best surround headphones cuz you set the premises for my dreams. I play you to silent rap or pop. Play you to my kids because “this is what the real music sounds like”, play it to do the deed.
This album is masterful. Cannot wait to see Bastian drop more play throughs.

I could not say it any differently, this is their third masterpiece!
I had the opportunity to review the upcoming album for an Italian magazine and also to interview Strid, and I'm listening to the new record since many weeks, so I'm able to say that this album will stand out as one of the best of the year, an instant classic! Congratulations to Soilwork and Nuclear Blast Records.

Sí, la canzone è buona: ben suonata, ottimamente prodotta e Strid è diventato veramente un cantante eccellente, però... se non avessi letto il nome Soilwork nel titolo del video, non li avrei proprio riconosciuti. Steelbath Suicide, The Chainheart Machine, A Predator's Portrait, Natural Born Chaos...

They literally can't make bad music, every song is deep and melodic!
This is what we wanted!! We love you Soilwork!! Please come to Japan.
The very first song I listened to by Soilwork was The Flameout, then it was Black Star Deceiver, Distance, Distortion Sleep etc. Since then, I listened to all the albums from there up, so I don't know a lot of their really old, old school stuff (from 1990's or whatever) but I like the direction they've went. The gamble paid off in my opinion.

First four albums (Steelbath Suicide, The Chainheart Machine, A Predator's Portrait and Natural Born Chaos) are their absolute best. Living Infinite is the best post-Wichers and Frenning album, but it doesn't come close to any of the first four.
Perfect album 👍🤘 Thank you so much Great work Dont hear something so beautiful since a Long Time My ears cant believe this 🙏🙏🙏
Missing the Bastard Chain and Like the Average Stalker vibes, but of course, Soilwork will be Soilwork. Long live Swedish Metal! 🤘🤘🤘

To the ones who say "it's not as good as X album" and "I want a rehash of this X album" I say this. Be grateful they are still doing new music and also how boring would it be hearing your favourite band doing the same album ad infinitum!

@VidZeen

*I won't be grateful because I find their newer material unlistenable. Low energy, generic, invokes ZERO emotions from me. Even the songs on this album that somewhat resemble their work pre-Living Infinite. I have nothing to be grateful except for their old albums.* *At a festival I visited in 2019 the entire audience was dead on every new song they played, and every old hit was mayhem. Before every old hit, Bjorn would go "you guys know this one!!!" or something like that. It seems like they are aware of the polarization the new material is causing in their fan base but it's who they want to be right now. Something like In Flames maybe.*
