Yeah buddy, I am from brazil too and I would like to see bands sounding like this in our country. Unfortunatelly that is not the case, this is the reason these guys are one of my main references to write my songs. Awesome!

The band that no matter how Heavy they are they still are catch as hell with Toms melodic vocals.

That riff in the chorus dude..

First time hearing this band. Impressed with the quality of the vocals and the heaviness of the groove.

I first discovered them very late at night on TV after some show finished playing and their vid for A Touch Of Blessing" came on and I loved it but left the room during the credits so never knew who did it and that was in 2005 2005 so I found them again with this song in 2019 only 14 years later damn it all that wasted time.

Evergrey may be one of the finest writing bands out there right now, they can flat out play their asses off too.. Inspiring.

Saw these guy's at a metal fest in Boston, MA and they just released Recreation Day (Nevermore, Jag Panzer, Elegy, Falconer was there can't remember the fest name). I was memorized. I was 19 and I found Tom after the show. He was so cold to me, but I didn't care. I was like I guess that is how Swedes are or he didn't want to be bothered. Still loving them to this day. Aww sweet nostalgia.

This just might be my favorite band

Can´t stop listening to this track...So brilliant... underestimated band...they deserve more attention.....

Man, norse people are always surprising me in the metal scene. Awesome!

Many bands are changing up their sound and getting softer and more applicable. Evergrey went the opposite direction. Heavier, more melodic, brutal and more challenging. Thank you!

Heavier??? Compared to what? They were at they heaviest more than 10 years ago. This one has a good opening riff but the chorus is a letdown, same emo pop/rock they've been rehashing since Glorious collision. This is not heavy. Check out Monday Morning Apocalypse if you want heavy and check out Recreation Day if you want to know what they are really capable of... that is more challenging.

It's just fuckin' AMAZING how these guys perform at top and ALWAYS manage to deliver album after album that seriously never gets old. One of the super few bands that has all their releases consisting of nothing but albums that are GREAT from first song to last. One of the most underrated bands of all time. Heavy, melodic, amazing vocals/lyrics and just... Yeah, just Evergrey. Join the Evergrey clan, goddammit!

Five years later and this song still holds strength! The Atlantic I won't forget for this was the time when I was beginning to lose my Grandmother due to how much she was fighting with Alzheimer's. Always been a metalhead and a fan of Evergrey! And since they are from my hometown Göteborg they have a special place in my heart. And this song is one of my absolute favorites so far, In fact so much that I had to buy myself a bass guitar and start learning so that I can play this by myself someday. 2014, Evergrey released Hymns for the Broken after having been on the brink of dissolving, due to two band members leaving. Fortunately, Henrik (guitars) and Jonas (drums) returned, and since then Evergrey has been absolutely on fire! (I mean, literally. Just check the drums at 4:00)

Actually, they aren't literally on fire. Their instruments, etc are. If they were literally on fire, they would be taken to the hospital for 3rd degree burns.

@@returnformer3950FYI ~ Underrated in the sense that there are bands getting more attention and exposure and aren't necessarily better or even have the discography of a band like Evergrey. Look at their page likes, this video's views, etc compared to other bands that have millions of followers/views in a matter of months... that's my view of underrated. There are still many people that need to discover Evergrey's music \m/

No, just given their quality, expertise & years of experience, I'm comparing their fanbase/followers (or lack their of) to that of other bands with less experience, etc. I'm sure if more people got to hear their music, they wouldn't be us "underrated". I guess I should try and use a word other than that, but for me that IS what it boils down to basically... \m/
